DINAR GURUS UPDATE, 13 OCTOBER

10-13-2012  Newshound Guru Vic1  LOOKS LIKE VERY GOOD NEWS COMING IN.   LOT'S OF GOOD NEWS!  THE IMF AND WB MEETING IN JAPAN...FOR ONE!  AND... WELL WE HAVE SHABIBI TELLING A FEW...I GUESS PEOPLE, THAT THE CBI WILL NOW BRING LAWSUITS AGAINST ANYONE TRYING TO INTER-FER WITH HIS KEEPING THE IQD...BALANCED!   MUCH MORE THERE THAN MOST CAN UNDERSTAND!  WHY DO YOU THINK HE [MALIKI] HAS HELD "PROXY" POSITION IN INTERIOR, DEFENSE AND SECURITY?  BECAUSE HE IS NOT THE "LEGAL" PRIME MINISTER! REMEMBER IN ORDER FOR HIM TO BE LEGAL...HE HAD 30 DAYS TO SEAT HIS FULL GOI!  MALIKI  VERY WELL KNOWS HIS NECK WILL WIND UP IN A NOOSE!

10-13-12  Intel Guru Blaino   While there has been a tremendous amount of fluffing and puffing re intel and rumors, there is in fact some distinct activity that may indeed be indicative of a tilt in our kind of direction. There "may" be some hard deadlines, some required decisions and agreements which are drawing down to their consummation. Intel is on it now, and if in fact these are not ghosts, if these are real arrangements, we could be seeing additional signs of the quickening! Intel and sources in the ME are seeing some meetings and confirming some additional details that appear to make the coming week, (2nd half) a very interesting time to watch and sharpen our focus. Watch for additional info...as we move forward into the next few DAYS. If you think we are approaching some critical markers and some closure to the puzzle of the RV me thinks you might be onto something. Prepare for financial acceleration!!!

10-13-2012  Newshound/Intel Guru BGG   I misread this one yesterday – which is even better news than yesterday!! As I understood it – Hakim was talking about helping Maliki form a “Majority Goverment”. However, the narrative turns out to be that Hakim and the IISC aren’t going to have anything to do with this “Majority Government” idea. They want a government that works and they won’t be part of the problem – but the solution. It wasn’t bad news if they were going to help Maliki form a true Dictatorship…because they just wouldn’t have been able to come up with the numbers. On the other hand – this news is spectacular. The IISC not being in Maliki’s own corner is really, really, really bad for him

Monetary Fund and the World Bank classifies Iraq as part of “positive gap”, 13 OCTOBER

BAGHDAD / obelisk: The Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq Sinan Shabibi, Saturday, that the IMF and the World Bank agreed to put Iraq under the name of “positive gap” of the economy during the debates Association institutions held in Japan.
Said Shabibi to the obelisk “,” The IMF and the World Bank agreed to put Iraq under the designation site gap positive for the economy during the debates Program Association institutions held in the Japanese capital Tokyo, “pointing out that” the two institutions Wars called for Iraq to do more to attract foreign investors and global capital to work in Iraq and not continue to rely on oil as a resource basis of the national economy. ”
Shabibi pointed out that “the meeting emphasized the importance of exploiting the opportunity to make way for the international experience in the field of finance, construction and infrastructure.”
Shabibi considered “the existence of Iraq in a positive gap of the financial crisis means that it is not affected much by higher food prices because of its resources of oil, which is up by one in the world because of the increased demand for it.”
It is noteworthy that Iraq produces about 2.7 million barrels of crude oil per day, and expects the Iraqi Oil Ministry to increase its production ceiling to three million barrels late 2011, while total exports of Iraqi crude oil of about 2.1 million barrels per day, and most of those quantities exported by tankers freely During the ports of Basra (virgin deep) and Amaya Alaaúmin, and are located within Iraqi territorial waters and pumped to two oil through pipes freely relate warehouses storing coastal located near the center of Faw, about 100 km south of the city of Basra, while exports quantities produced from the northern fields to the port Ceyhan on the coast of the Mediterranean through a tube conveyor, and the remaining quantities exported to Jordan using pelvic carriers.

BUTIFLDRM, POPPY, PHOENIX & BGG POST, 13 OCTOBER

10-13-12 Butifldrm: I found a little bit of information on output gap in reference to inflation. "Does a positive output gap always mean rising inflation? The answer is no - indeed beware statements in economics that carry the word ALWAYS because we can (always!) find a way of explaining a situation where the statement can be falsified!
When there is a positive output gap then the economy is operating with a level of actual GDP above the estimated potential level of national output. This indeed can cause some inflationary pressures to build up a) High demand encourages businesses to raise price and enjoy higher profit margins B) If SRAS is inelastic, attempts to expand output might be accompanied by rising wage, raw material and component costs."
Butifldrm Continues:  "But inflationary (and deflationary) pressures come from many sources - both internal and external and from the demand and supply-side of the economy. Some come direct from the domestic economy, for example the decisions of the utility companies providing electricity or gas or water on their prices for the year ahead, or the pricing strategies of the food retailers based on the strength of demand and competitive pressure in their markets.

A rise in government VAT would also be a cause of increased inflation because it increases a firm’s production costs. Inflation can also come from external sources, for example a sustained rise in the price of crude oil or other imported commodities, foodstuffs and beverages.

Fluctuations in the exchange rate can also affect inflation – for example a fall in the value of the pound against other currencies might cause higher import prices – which feeds through directly into the consumer price index. So even if there was a small positive output gap there might be other factors such as a strong exchange rate, weaker global commodity prices or the impact of new technology keeping inflationary pressures in check."

10-13-12 BGG:
"Attorney Sayadi demands to dissolve parliament and by the early elections and the formation of a political majority government." This is not a particularly damaging article – on it’s own. However, it is a representation of this goofy “majority government” rhetoric.

It’s crazy!! So Maliki stalls on the deal that got him in power long enough for them to come up with the line that this government doesn’t work so we have to give all the power to the ones in power?!? How’s that for crazy? It won’t happen….relax. 4,000 US “contractors” just showed up there – to promote “stability."
10-13-12 Phoenix3333: House of Representatives raises its next Monday after voting to abolish Article 40 and finished reading five laws and hosted by the Minister of Health. "The House voted at the twenty-eighth held headed by Osama Nujaifi Parliament Speaker and the presence of 175 deputies, on Saturday, on the proposed law to cancel article 40 of the federal budget for the year 2012, while finished reading the first and second for five projects and proposals laws as well for hosting the Minister of Health, as was decided to raise to the meeting on Monday. The Presidency has decided to postpone the vote on the President of the accountability and justice, his deputy and the proposed amnesty law submitted by the Committees legal and human rights."
"The Council ended reading the first of the proposed law Federation Council submitted by the Committees legal and regions and provinces for the purpose of completeness structural federal legislative power and consecration of the building federal institutions and protect the interests of the regions and the provinces and addressing a constitutional vacuum. The Council completed the first reading of the draft law on ratification of the Treaty of Friendship, Partnership and Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government Italian Republic and submitted by the Committees on Foreign Relations and services and ages, which aims to promote cooperation and friendship and partnership between the two countries and the development of new areas of cooperation based on mutual interests, including the commitment of the Italian government to provide financial grants to contribute to the ages of Iraq. The Council voted in principle to continue reading Proposed Regulation Act for work designated agency after the completion of the first reading to him, and which aims to apply the principles of law and building state institutions properly and make the original is permanent and not the emergency is continuing in the government and broaden the base of participation in power. That then completes the second reading a bill to support development projects and submitted by the committees of economy and investment, legal and financial."
10-13-12 Poppy3: There have been 3 articles in the last few days from the Sunni leadership calling for the CBI, begging, we need the RV prior to the budget. I had said the budget was supposed to in the hands of Parliament by the 16th -19th for final approval. They are begging for the RV prior to this. Shabibi has said give me a functional government & I will release the RV. I had hoped that once this government is seated that he has confidence enough to release the RV. I don't think that is the situation now. There is a lot of things pushing them to get this done now. I have an article saying that Shabibi said he would not go past December 1st. Take this with a grain of salt, because he is planning on the government being set before this. We are in an awesome situation, here with this investment & with the richest country in the world.

Workshop discusses dropping of the zeros

Examine the mechanism of deleting three zeros from the Iraqi currency in Maysan
10/13/2012 12:00 am
discussed a workshop organized by the Office of the representatives of the Iraqi parliament in the province of Maysan on the mechanism of deleting three zeros from the Iraqi currency was attended by representatives of Maysan MPs Mohammed Saadoun Chihod Rafi Abd al-Jabbar Noshi and professors from the University of Maysan and bank managers and specialists affairs and financial arithmetic and Mmmthelo civil society organizations in province.
said Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Maysan Dr. Fadel punitive’s (Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network) was axis to indicate a deletion of zeros between pro and exhibitions have been put forward ideas from both sides.,
a positive action must be done by the state after a period became the signs to improve Iraq’s economic and also the process of deletion of zeros to a complete change, but constitute a psychological, economic and easy to handle in cash and remain the Iraqi dinar doomed economically sectors that support within the Iraqi economy.
apprehensive state of Iraq when it comes out of the item Alsba to Aabdi economic well but as a measure to have been affected when, not Iraq the only country that intends to delete the zeros its currency, but there are countries, including Sudan changed its currency and deleted from the Sudanese pound zeros.’m with the deletion of zeros, but there should be strong measures and strict in the process of replacing the zeros and to develop procedures for the replacement process and not rush out of fear of the process of money laundering.
part MP Mohammed Saadoun Chihod’s (Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network) that economic reforms must be along the lines of political reform, one of the requirements of the current stage and economics Iraq now need to reform and placed the deletion of zeros is one of the economic reforms that elevate the Iraqi economy to the level of our ambitions, but Multi delete the zeros do more harm than good at this stage, where the challenges facing the country, including the economic and fear of corruption and fraud, not to mention not to strengthen the Iraqi dinar after the deletion of zeros we are with the process of deletion of zeros, but not in this difficult journey.
The first step in the economic reforms that preceded the reforms within the Central Bank of Iraq and the relationship of the central bank in charge of fiscal policy, which is under the Iraqi constitution. Within exclusive powers of the federal government is making fiscal policy of the Iraqi state at the time says he independently and far from the government and this is a problem and can not carry out the deletion of zeros under the political pressure and security challenges large.
This big mistake must approve the deletion of zeros is everyone’s participation in policy-making Economic by the Iraqi parliament and the Central Bank of Iraq and can not be of the Central Bank of Iraq to be alone with the process of deletion of zeros without Iraqi parliament is responsible for economic policy and financial of the country.
