[Music: I Believe and Pomp and Circumstance]

RayRen: Good afternoon, super-fantastic TNT family! Today is Fantabulous Friday, June 16, 2017, yours trule RayRat98 at the controls. Today’s call has a theme: I Believe… Based on all the information I have received from multiple sources, private and public, I will share with what I believe.

Starting with the US, I am led to believe that the authorization is in place for this RV to start as of Wednesday. I do believe that private exchange appointments are in progress yesterday and today.

I am waiting for results as to whether they actually exchanged. I believe that verification at the bank before you leave is of the utmost importance – no matter what you find later, this is IT, rather than “we have verified this but we’re sending it out somewhere else and if there is a problem, we’re taking it out of your account.”. NO. ‘As it is written, so it is done.’

We need to go to the banks that verify on site, and then it is done. Iraqi television has said that Iranians in Iraq are blocking the reforms. The banks there have been closed from yesterday to tomorrow, and international cards are functioning, some at rates as high as $3.71.

AT the mosques, Iraqis are being told their back and future payments will commence on Sunday, based on the new rates. I do belive all that, based on what I am hearing. Information in Mosul? That’s all just window-dressing. We’re just waiting, hour by hour.

Questions from the TNT forum

Q: What is your level of excitement for this happening within the next week?

A: I am fantabulous, to the nth degree!

Q: Were you able to get any feedback as to whether this weekend is he end of Ramadan in Iraq; the info you had gotten from one of your callers with contacts in Iraq?

A: We were investigating this three-day bank closure, to see what that’s about; one member talked with an Iraqi and was told it was because of the end of Ramadan – but Ramadan ends on the 24th. In Mosul, they are not doing prayers at night, and some are leaning towards ending Ramadan early, cutting prayer out ten days early. I don’t know what Ramadan really is, during the day or at night, but that is the theory, that they are discontinuing the nightly prayers for Ramadan. We still don’t know, really.

Q: Thank you for your patience and for all you do. Any thoughts on the Iranian Toma?

A: That’s what we have been calling the rial. If you have some, good. If you don’t, not to worry, there’s no hurry. I do think it will return to its former glory at some point, so I have a couple of pieces.

Q: Ray, has it been verified that Iraq is currently shipping one million barrels of oil to the US daily?

A: I haven’t tried to verify that information. So believe that it is, and that petro-dollars are being used to purchase that oil. I’m out to lunch on that.

Q: Are you aware of or have any knowledge of the most popular currencies many have interest in this TNT family as being or becoming asset backed already or soon?

[RR: No, I’m not going to speak on that yet.]

Is the mention of digitizing this one or that one related to your possible understanding made so to protect it against placing it in a lesser value position by exchanging it? Or is digitizing more about anticipating a leap in value before exchanging to USD or another currency?

A: Digitizing is about being able to deal with the currency but not get rid of the currency on the chance that it might have higher value on a later date. We know that dinar will go up in value, but holding paper is risky because a country can discontinue its paper notes without discontinuing its currency. No one wants to be at a disadvantage when that happens, so it’s a good idea to convert it to liquid currency that you can spend or hold, without it being paper that might become outdated.

Q: Could you update us as to how much we are allow to exchange with each currency?

A: Whatever you have; I don’t know of any limits on that.

Q: For applying for an apartment after the RV, being unemployed, how do we show proof of income, if the Management request statement from employer?

A: You can show interest statements from the bank – that will be your income, or you show them your 1099 at the end of the year.

Q: are dong and zim still projected to be in the 1rst basket?

A: Yes, they still are. Truth be told, I hope they are not (leveraging opportunity), but so far I as have heard, they are still in the first basket.

Live Q and A
610 caller: Please send your donations by mail to Ray Renfrow, PO Box 1748, Elm City NC 27822; that address is also on www.tntsuperfantastic.com, on the donation page.

RayRen: Based on past experiences, with snail mail being so slow, yes we welcome those donations. [my computer crashed here]

CA caller: I’m with you – I don’t want dong in the first basket!

805 caller: So can I just go to the bank and say “I have X dinars and I want to deposit them as dinar”.

RayRen: We don’t know of any US banks that will do that, so you may have to find a bank or use a brokerage house that will allow you to digitize or invest it as that currency. I believe some US brokerage houses will do that.

Caller: So you might be able to exchange some and digitize the rest?

RayRen: Yes, that would be ideal.

Caller: There is a television program called America vs. Iraq, and it will answer a lot of questions for you. Nothing started moving until Abadi came to power.

707 caller: I did some homework, and at least one back in my area buys and sells dinar; I’ll be picking some up today. Also, there was a sad situation here – I told a friend to buy some IQD from Sterling a few years ago; in the last year, she decided to sell it with a bunch of other currencies. She exchanged them for pennies on the dollar. So sad. She bought it from Sterling and exchanged them in Israel. I couldn’t believe it! 347 caller: There is a list of bank perks provided by member on TNT Showtime?

RayRen: I know who you’re talking about… if you have access to TNT itself, then go there and try to find that file or post.

Caller: Is this entire list perks that you will get from a banker?

RayRen: Every bank might not to do the complete list, but this post was put together by members, so it’s what is possible. Cross-reference this with what you have.

Caller: I will send you my list of banks that verify on site, later today or tomorrow.

410 caller: When will the 800 numbers be released, so we can get our appointments set up?

RayRen: I imagine the US banks will open that up on Monday, next week. I think they will be making appointments in the moment, otherwise they’ll have a flood of calls.

740 caller: The last couple of weeks I haven’t been able to receive the tweets. Could you tweet me that process? I’m not a member of the forum.

RayRen: Text to 40404: FOLLOW @THE_TNT_TEAM. You should get a return message pretty much immediately.

Caller: With the self-directed Roth IRA, if you fold your currency into that, are you not able to withdraw until you’re 59.5?

[RR: That’s right.]

And there is a five year waiting period even if you are 59.5?

RayRen: Yes, that’s right. So only put part of your currency in there. It’s a good Plan B – and then in five years, if you messed up, you’ll have a backup!

312 caller: You said the banks in Iraq will reopen Sunday, Saturday night for us, so I wondered if there is any possibility of our exchanging in the US on Sunday, if this has gone live… not that Iraqi banks being open means that this is public. But I am hopeful that this means something different, that they will do something different.
RayRen: If they just do it, we’re going to know it, and take the next step!

516 caller:

 RayRen: Closing Statement
People were looking for something to happen yesterday in Iraq, but I didn’t get too excited about it, because we keep reading material about ‘after Ramadan’. But if it happens today, that would not surprise me. For me, the next window is after Ramadan, because that’s what Iraq is saying to their people.

Anything else is window-dressing – those skirmishes that are being reported. That’s Iraq; I don’t know about other countries like Vietnam. Everything else remains to be seen. All the currencies have favorable outlooks. US banks are quiet as a church mouse, although they are having trainings and getting ready. That’s all we can do: get ready, be ready.

Slow down, don’t rush into things, and don’t jump to conclusions. Make sure it is real, and make plans to work with whatever that reality is. That’s how we can best benefit the TNT membership.

There are couple more days in this week, and something might happen, or it might not. I’m just waiting, minute by minute and hour by hour, with my long-range plans for the end of the month. Hang in there; keep believing.
