Elmerf123456:  Here it is straight from across the pond!!! Iraq’s special forces declare their Mosul mission COMPLETE!!!   Yahoooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Special Forces part which was a significant part is done! I'm betting more news to follow.

Elmerf123456:  Now being reported in mainstream. IMPORTANT: #Iraq's special forces have announced that they have achieved all their tasks in western #Mosul and their mission is completed. Hadier Sumeri. Iraqi Security

Team d :   elmer, heard anything about the currency flow stopping to dealers?

Elmerf123456 : I've heard that about dealers. What does that mean? We shall see. I view it as a good thing.

Queensea :  Elmerf123456 What is Okie saying?
Elmerf123456 : Okie is expectant like all of us.

SUGGAR : elmer how is Okie doing..

Elmerf123456 : Just spoke to Okie. He's feeling great and we all seem to be on same page. Let's see what happens next.

Elmerf123456 : We only know that they(Abadi) wanted to deliver freedom b4 Ramadan.  They will achieve that for sure! Now as far as an RV I know Abadi wants to kick off the balancing of the reforms hopefully RV is a place in that picture, they cannot continue to do what they need to do until all the world that backs, has investment in their country and so forth which had a suppressed rate in 2003 because of dictatorship and controls put on them by the United States and at 1166 that part of logic tells me there will be a change.

But when ?  we have to wait-and-see! But I see it quickly IMO.

BAGHDAD – Iraq’s special forces say they have retaken the last Mosul districts from the Islamic State group within their area of operation after the push to retake the city’s western half was officially launched in February.

Sabah al-Numan, the spokesman for the special forces, says the troops finished their mission Saturday. IS still controls some eight square kilometres of western Mosul, including the dense Old City where some of the toughest battles are expected to play out.
