TNT CHAT UPDATED, 22 MAY

Phantom809:  I am ready for this RV to happen. So, who among us has the super secret code to trigger the release of the RV. Why are you holding out? come forward asnd give it up.

Jiminkc: Ray, a few weeks ago a woman wrote to you that she had exchanged some kind of currency at a Chase bank. She, and three employees, all counted it before it was sent off for verification. The verification site said their count was wrong, and deducted some amount from her deposit, and she had no recourse but to accept that count, and the loss of some her money from the account. In Kansas City, neither B of A, or Wf, have on-site De la Rue machines or verification. Both say they must send currencies to another location. The obvious question is: do you know of anything we can do to prevent this from happening?

HiJack:  Don't panic yet, you are not even at the bank yet, you are in control.
You have choices; either accept the verification process that they have in place or move on to another bank and risk missed opportunity.

Most banks will not have a Delarue machine, but will have a book or black light to verify authentication.

You should have already made "color" copies of all your currencies and they should be kept in a safe location along with your receipt(s)of purchase.

As Ray has said and also others; make them sign a proof of verification letter before leaving the bank or even before releasing your currency for verification.

Daz:  IM GOING TO WHEREVER THEY WILL DO IT THE WAY I WANT TO DO IT

A DELARUE MACHINE IS NOT A REQUIREMENT FOR ME…AS LONG AS THE BANK OR EXCHANGE LOCATION "PERSONS" CAN VERIFY ONSITE WITH INSTANT CREDIT WITHOUT RECOURSE ..

IM GOOD WHETHER THEY USE THE "WHITE BOOK", ONLINE VERIFICATION SERVICE, BLACKLIGHT OR TRAINED CURRENCY SNIFFING POODLES

SassyD:  All banks would have currency counting machines..... with software to know the difference between one dollar bills va 20 dollar bills, etc ..... I would assume that there would be software available to do the same with foreign currencies !!! .... not all banks may have the software for the foreign currencies presently or most of the employees may not be aware at present !!

Briona:  The exchange centers are created for one purpose, and that is to exchange our currencies. I would find it highly unlikely, that they would not verify the currency on site, and create additional work and time by sending the currency off. Can you imagine the backlog created if all these currencies needed to be sent off.

Red:  most of the new Delarou  machines come with different programs and you can switch from one currency to another and they will check for authenticity, but they can switch between programs and between currencies.
