Samson:  Central Bank of Iraq issued a statement on the dollar exchange rate

 12/15/2016 - 09:23

The Central Bank of Iraq, on Thursday, a statement on the US dollar exchange rate.
According to the statement, and received "Economy News" copy of it, "the central bank does not intend to change the exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar against the US dollar."
He denied the central bank, in its statement, "the imposition of fees or taxes on the sale price of the dollar," pointing out that "the rise in oil prices will enable the Bank to inject greater than the dollar amounts to the market.

Don961:  OK .... The dollar has been on the rise recently ... so the correlation with the dinar means it takes more dinars to equal a dollar ... what he appears to be saying is no need to panic .... we do not need to adjust our current rate to match and maintain price stability .... or impose fees and taxes on dollar sales ....the " the rise in oil prices will enable the Bank to inject greater than the dollar amounts to the market.".....

Don't think this relates to RI/RV per se .... just with what is happening at the present time .... til they are off program rate .... and the value of the dinar increases to be = to or > than the dollar .... to give real value to the currency ... IMO
