aside from value, is there any chance there may be a limited time in which the foreign currency we speak of would be honored.
    Thank You

I believe they want the currencies turned in as quickly as they can. I think 60-90 days for most of them. We have heard the Zim may need to be done in 30 I believe, It hasn't been talked about much as of late. Personally going all in and never gonna do the currency thing again.
Thanks for asking, maybe some others will give some answers too. Come on RV!!!!

If Dinar and Dong are international and they revalue. Then why would it matter how long you took before you exchanged? Why would there be any time limit at all?

    Except for contract rates?

ITS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT THERE ARE SET RULES FOR CURRENCIES. THOSE RULES ARE SET BY THE IMF IF THE NATION IS PART OF THE IMF, BIS, WORLD BANK NETWORK.

A COUNTRY'S CURRENT CURRENCY REMAINS VALID UNTIL A FORMAL PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT IS MADE OF A CHANGE IN THE CURRENCY.

I BELIEVE THERE IS TYPICALLY A 24 MONTH PERIOD WITH A DEFINITE START AND END DATE MANDATED (IMF) BEFORE A CHANGE, RETRACTION OR CANCELLATION CAN OCCUR. THIS PROVIDES TIME FOR CITIZENS, BUSINESSES AND GOVERNMENTS THAT HOLD CURRENCIES AND RESERVES TO EXCHANGE TO THE NEWLY ISSUED (REPLACEMENT) CURRENCY BEFORE DELETION.

THIS WOULD ONLY APPLY TO VIABLE CURRENCIES CURRENTLY IN CIRCULATION.

THE ZIM WOULD NOT FIT THAT DESCRIPTION... SO WHO KNOWS HOW THAT WILL BE TREATED, IF AT ALL.

IMO...THERE IS SOME MERIT TO HOLDING SOME OF THESE CURRENCIES LONG TERM AS BOTH SPECULATION AND LONG TERM STORE OF WEALTH BUT, THAT STRATEGY COMES WITH SOME RISKS AND REQUIRES CONTINUED ATTENTION AND PARTICIPATION TO RECOGNIZE WHEN OR IF
