Does anyone have information regarding which notes will be exchanged for the ZIM. I remember Tony mentioning that it will be limited to 50 and 100 Trillion notes?
As has been said many times by now, it's the 50 and 100 trillion notes, 2008, series AA. There has been the suggestion that banks will only exchange a minimum of 100 trillion.
Thank you for the confirmation...you are a blessing!
While DC was still doing calls, he answered this question saying all series AA 2008 will be exchangeable. So...This is the only series in which trillion denoms were issued, and DC said ALL of them, which includes 100, 50, and 10 trillion. Just sayin.
I have a 5 Billion note..I will need to look to see if it, too, is from 2008 and AA series...maybe they will take that one, too...since the rest of the notes I have are the 100 Trillion. Got the 5 Billion note for free! Maybe it's free because I won't be able to exchange it?!?! Don't know for sure until I'm sitting in front of the the exchanger!
One thing I know for sure. The one and only person that talked about the Zimbabwe currency 2 years BEFORE Tony even had it on his radar, emphatically stated to BUY ONLY the 50 Trillion and the 100 Trillion notes 2008 AA series.
DIVERSIFY CURRENCIES..NOT JUST DENOMINATIONS
