FRANK26 UPDATE, 18 AUGUST

From Frank:

The Monetary Reform remains in front of us

It is our opinion that Dr. S will be returning but we just don't know when

Again, IOO (In Our Opinion) the reforms will need an RI to start them

From the article earlier today, "Let it Float".....this will put things in the hands of the international world and with this will come a faster rise in the rate....IOO

With the actions being taken by PM Abadi in the form of his reforms expect to see the removal of many things people, policies, laws, etc he will make sure that nothing stands in the way of his reforms as we move forward

That is all for the time being

Aloha    Randy

TMAN23 TIDBITS, 18 AUGUST

The new currency must come first as a prelude to the deletion of the 3 zeros from the currency... This is the biggest statement ever made yet so often overlooked!

If they are speaking of new lower denoms, then they would need a rate other then 1166...and if they come first, then the 3 zero notes will carry high value before removing the 3 zeros at the exchange window...what is the time limit...72 hrs...7 days...who knows...but it is possible!

The other scenario is seeing a 50,000 note come in October...if that hits the streets then it is not looking good no matter how anyone tries to spin it... Make no mistake...the world is on the edge of financial disasters... it is real and live!

There are 33 consulates now opened in Erbil... All these countries are lining up at the feeding trough...IMO it is bigger then Iraq...something BIG is being prepared... and TIME IS A FACTOR!

MY LADIES CHAT UPDATE WITH MEMPHIS, 18 AUGUST

MY LADIES: It ranked Iraq five levels below investment grade this month in its first ratings for the country

MY LADIES: WELL THIS IS A GOOD PLACE AS ANY TO START

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-08-18/iraq-hires-banks-including-citigroup-for-6-billion-sale

The country plans to meet with international investors as soon as next month, said two people familiar with the program, asking not to be identified because the talks are private.

DS:  You see all we can do is wait

MY LADIES:  NO NO WE HAVE CONFIRMATION FOR NEXT MONTH FOR THE SALE...THIS IS PROMISING
....
PrincessDD: Is the US headed for a big economic correction?
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/08/18/is-us-headed-for-big-economic-correction/

IQD NOVA:  YES!

MY LADIES:  THE ARTICLE IS ARE WE HEADING FOR A CORRECTION...GOOD ARTICLE THANK YOU PRINCES

MY LADIES: AND IT WILL..BUT NOT IN WHAT THE RUN CHICKEN LITTLES ARE SAYING

LOOK THE DOLLAR IS WHERE RIGHT NOW 98 OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT?

SO IT WILL CONTINUE TO RAISE UNTIL IT BECOMES EXHAUSTED AND THEN IT WILL CORRECT, BUT TO WHERE???

WELL I PERSONALLY SAY MID 80'S WAS COMFORTABLE ALL AROUND SO MAYBE IT WILL SETTLE THERE

WELL A CORRECTION OF 18 POINTS IS HUGE!! BUT WILL THAT MAKE THE DOLLAR GO AWAY???

NO IT WILL NOT

AND WILL AVERAGE JOE PERSON EVEN NOTICE?? NO...THEY WILL NOT, MOST DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND THE INDEX NOW!

BUT I WILL NOT BE A FARM ANIMAL IN THE CHICKEN LITTLE STORY LINE...I DO NOT SEE THE SKY FALLING ANYWHERE!

************

HearingGod:  Absolutely I understand. I just think that there may be a difference of opinion as to how much this will affect the USA and US dollar. And how quickly for that matter. In my personal opinion I believe that there are so many layers that it's almost impossible to estimate how much of the global debt is tied to the u.s. dollar as the world's reserve currency.

So along those lines of the global debt is corrected or rebalanced it would seem to have to quickly sand severely effect the USD soon.

There have been prior conversations regarding this and then a conversation with Memphis this morning. It just seems to me that it almost has to affect the US dollar in a greater and quicker way then we have discussed here recently

MY LADIES:  I’M NOT SURE WHAT YOU’RE EXPECTING TO SEE WITH THIS CORRECTION BUT I KNOW THIS IS A CONTROLLED EVENT AND IS NOT DESIGNED TO CRASH AND BURN.

WHEN YOU COMPARE THE DEBT OF THIS COUNTRY TO ANYWHERE ELSE IT IS CLEAR WE HAVE MORE THAN WE NEED. BUT EVEN STILL THE COLLAPSE OF THAT DEBT IS GOING TO BE CONTROLLED.

I GUESS MY FRUSTRATION COMES FROM HEARING SO MANY DOOMSDAY STORIES FROM FOLKS THAT DO NOT REALIZE THE OLD SYSTEM BROKEN AND FULL OF DEBT IS MANAGED BY THE SAME THE PEOPLE THAT ARE USHERING IN THE NEW SHINY SYSTEM. SO WHILE THINGS NEED TO CORRECT THEY DO NOT NEED TO IMPLODE.

ARE YOU AWARE THAT MARKETS GO INTO CORRECTION STATUS WHEN THE LOWS GO BELOW 5%? SO HOW MUCH DOES JOE PUBLIC REALIZE THAT SOME CORRECTIONS ARE HAPPENING EVERYDAY??

NOW THIS COMING CORRECTION WILL BE A BIT MORE INTENSE BUT IN MY VISION IT IS STILL NOT DESIGNED FOR TOTAL DESTRUCTION.

MEMPHIS:  I just noticed this post from earlier (sorry) and wanted to break it down into pieces and briefly address it:

quote: "My guess is that these people are not stupid and that the IMF is ready ...."

I Certainly agree that they are not stupid but this does not mean they are fully in control of all things!  There is an important distinction here.   I believe (based on evidence) that the IMF is largely reacting to circumstances as they unfold and as we see " band aids" continuing to be applied that they are indeed...not ready.  contrary then to what we might consider logical here, I would propose that once things are allowed to begin unraveling and the band aid conspicuously left unused?  That THEN the change is fast upon us.]

"Mary has always said that the USD is not in near danger of sudden or drastic collapse ....In not sure that I agree and I think that if others don't realize the imminence of the sudden changes that could take place then...."

[I would certainly side with Mary on this one and if you struggle with this then my prescription would be 30days of Martin Armstrong.  He has been ALL OVER this talk of "the $ is dying" for a very long time.  Just yesterday in fact!!  I can lead others to water but....]

[regarding: "the imminence of sudden changes" you are spot on sir but please consider that if our perspective is skewed by even a small margin?  We can miss the mark by a mile!  For this reason I am very slow to advance in my "evolution" of the world.  I truly chew on a thing for a very long time and then compare it daily to everything and THEN I still keep it in my back pocket until such time as it has proven worthy of full acceptance.

At the risk of boring folks my point is an important one.  We must be slow to adjust and refocus our PERSPECTIVE.  It is a thing to be guarded.

All indications are that global capital flows into the USD are not yet even in full swing!  Does this mean peace and safety for the foreseeable future in America?  No way.

On the backside of 2015.75 we will be facing the peak in gov't.  Confidence in our gov't is about to...shift...and things will begin to unravel but the USD?  It will be standing like a champ all the while!]

BRO > WWW.CBIRAQ.ORG

Sager:  Yes Bro, this has changed within the last two weeks. Very interesting and exciting to me personally!

BRO:  IS THIS AN OLD LINK OR THE NEW ONE?

Sager:  Timing!  The thing I love about this is that this site (cbiraq.org) is not even being used… and it wasn’t working at all for the past years. Now all of the sudden, it has changed and was updated to this

PrincessDD:  So it is real Sager?

SAGER -: cbiraq.org is linked to the actual cbi site it appears, because both owners of the site has the same name…..Not sure yet princess but they seem to be linked….Here hold on…let me show you something…..Go here:
http://whois.icann.org/en/lookup?name=cbiraq.org

Hearing God:  Of note, this site is a bit strange in that it is a forward to a non standard web port (8090 instead of port 80). There are reasons that this can or is done but it's a bit cheesy. That in and of itself looks suspect to me!

Sager:  -: Notice the email address: Email: amir.shaher@cbi.iq -: suffix is cbi.iq

Now look at this:   -: hold on
Picture
SAGER -: This is a search on cbi.iq…Notice the email on this one: cbi@cbiraq.org.  ...So the cbi.iq and cbiraq.org websites appear to be linked somehow….Right now, the cbiraq.org website is just an empty shell
Sager:  but what is interesting is that, for years (since I can remember being invested over 5 years ago), cbiraq.org was not working… it always gave an error. Now, less than two weeks ago, the site is now up and working, mind you at a very rudimentary level, but nevertheless, still working.

Sager -: You have to keep in mind that this site is not even being accessed by anyone… it’s not functional, it doesn’t serve a purpose (that we can see.. yet). So why even make cbiraq.org functional? That is what interests and intrigues me…..What’s interesting is that criraq.org  and cbi.iq seem to be linked somehow. That’s why I’ll check out that site everyday to see if there are any changes. If there are, I will post it. But for now, I wouldn’t get really excited about this… the change is interesting and seems positive, but not enough details to be really excited about at this point. Interesting change though!

Sands:  SAGER, I CHECKED THAT SITE YESTERDAY AND BELOW THE CBI BANNER IT SAID:  Statistical Site Test Page AND BELOW THAT WAS THE OLD CBI BUILDING….BIG CHANGE TODAY

Sager:  Guys go to cbiraq.org again!!! It changed once more!!! It just changed!

Sands:  WORKING ON THAT SITE A LOT

Sager:  It doesn't matter what the ip looks like because when you go on the cb-Iraq.org site, and click on cbiraq.org link, it redirects to what we now see….The ip is simply pointing to another server.

MVL:   Got it. Thanks. My understanding was, once a rate was released, we would see an exchange rate box listed on the CBI site. Would this new site be the place to watch?

Sager: I don't think so.I would still watch cbi.iq. ButI would also watch cbiraq.org to see what happens because they are linked somehow

Sager:  But I think it's amazing that this site has updated in the last 2 weeks and now today….They are aware of it

MVL:   Thanks, Sager. I'll keep an eye on all three sites from time to time

AW:  I have attached a You Tube video by Mike Maloney that describes in detail the movement away from the dollar as the world's reserve currency. This video provides some valuable history and background to what Mary and NOVA have been trying to enlighten us about. He gets into the information at about the 2 or 3 minute mark. Enjoy..

ShastaConnect:  US News & World Report - Iraqi selling intl bonds and redominating currency

"Iraq plans to issues bonds worth $7 billion — $5 billion in international bonds and $2 billion for domestic banks — to narrow the deficit. It introduced initiatives to impose new excise and consumption taxes. It also secured a $1.7 billion in loans from the World Bank and a $833 million loan with the International Monetary Fund.

Iraq also revived a long-delayed plan to redenominate the Iraqi dinar by knocking three zeroes off the nominal value of its banknotes, said Ihsan Shamran al-Yassiri, the head of Iraq Central Bank Issuing and Vaults Department"

Looks to me like this kinda article is "making a marketing" or getting the general public used to the idea of a RV on the dinar ... can't sell those intl bonds with a wallpaper currency.

Iraq's economy, beaten by Islamic State war and low oil prices, struggles amid rising protests, 18 AUGUST

In this Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, photo an Iraqi street currency exchanger counts banknotes in Baghdad, Iraq. Iraq is battling both the Islamic State group and massive budget deficits brought on by the lowest global oil prices in six and a half years, forcing it to cut spending on government projects local businesses have relied on for years. Associated Press Aug. 18, 2015 | 11:18 a.m. EDT + More

By SINAN SALAHEDDIN, Associated Press

BAGHDAD (AP) — In business since the 1960s, Karim al-Aboudi's family has seen Iraq's economy boom with oil wealth and bust through wars and the 2003 U.S.-led invasion, but today marks the worst downturn he's seen in decades.

Forced to fire 65 percent of his staff and close two of his six aluminum and glass factories, al-Aboudi's troubles mirror those facing business owners across Iraq. As the country battles the Islamic State group on the ground, it faces massive budget deficits brought on by the lowest global oil prices in six and a half years.

And while austerity cuts have helped Iraq fund its military effort against the extremists, it has slowed businesses like al-Aboudi's and construction firms that rely on government contracts.

Taking a deep puff of a cigarette, 65-year-old al-Aboudi said he and others don't see it getting much better soon: "The manufacturers and merchants are now only drinking tea and reading newspapers."

Since early 2014, Iraq has suffered a serious economic decline after the Shiite-led government in Baghdad started losing territory to the Sunni militants of the Islamic State group. Low oil prices exacerbated the decline, wreaking havoc on Iraq's national budget, of which oil revenue makes nearly 95 percent.

As of July, Iraq's oil revenues stood at $31.5 billion, according to Oil Ministry figures, with an average daily export capacity less than a 3.3 million barrel quota set in this year's budget. Iraq's semi-autonomous Kurdish region now sells oil independently from the central government.

Iraq's $102.5 billion budget now runs a deficit of about $21.4 billion. Some $27 billion is earmarked for defense, but more could be needed.

"For sure the situation in dire and needs quick alternatives," lawmaker Haitham al-Jaburi said.

Iraq had a state-run economy under dictator Saddam Hussein, buoyed by its oil wealth. Back then, 1 Iraqi dinar was worth $3. But the economy began to suffer under economic sanctions after the 1991 Gulf War. By the time of the U.S.-led invasion, it was 3,000 dinars to $1. Today, it's about 1,166 dinars to $1. Annual inflation stands at about 2 percent.

Like other businesses, al-Aboudi's flourished after Saddam's overthrow, buoyed by authorities suspending most tariffs and import duties and starting nationwide government-funded projects. But sectarian violence in 2006 and 2007 damaged the country's economy. Meanwhile, Iraq's national power grid supplies only a fraction of the country's needs, forcing residents and business to rely on diesel generators.

Reeling from the Islamic State advance, Iraq's government now has stopped spending money on construction projects to fund its military.

"Since the deterioration in security situation, the fall of Mosul and the austerity measures, the (government) business has dropped to zero," said al-Aboudi, whose business was 65 percent government-funded projects.

Reacting the crisis, Iraq plans to issues bonds worth $7 billion — $5 billion in international bonds and $2 billion for domestic banks — to narrow the deficit. It introduced initiatives to impose new excise and consumption taxes. It also secured a $1.7 billion in loans from the World Bank and a $833 million loan with the International Monetary Fund.

Iraq also revived a long-delayed plan to redenominate the Iraqi dinar by knocking three zeroes off the nominal value of its banknotes, said Ihsan Shamran al-Yassiri, the head of Iraq Central Bank Issuing and Vaults Department. The plan is set to be implemented by 2017 after restructuring dinar by issuing two large banknotes — a 50,000 dinar note before the end of this year and 100,000 banknote next year — and canceling small ones.

This month, bond rating agency Fitch gave Iraq its first rating, calling it "B-" with a stable outlook. The rating agency forecast a double-digit fiscal deficit for 2015 due to lower oil prices, higher military spending and war costs.LINK

KTFA NEWS SUMMARY, 18 AUGUST

Tuesday News Summaries and Commentaries

Well the dawning of a new day and we see mucho news from PM Abadi and what he and the COM have been busy with today....a reduced COM I might add, from 33 members down to 22 members today, thanks to elimination of some positions as well as consolidation of others....

Meanwhile Maliki continues to whine from Tehran.....more like groveling.....don't convict me, I don't look good in pin stripes....he sings the "Not Me" song but is way out of tune....but at least he is out of Iraq for the moment....will his absence be enough to bring forth Dr. S....time will tell us....on with the news.

Minister: Cabinet session today limited to 22 ministers
....
Once there were 33 but today there are only 22.....so the story goes in the reform plans of PM Abadi.....change is never easy to take and being the change artist is definitely not an easy task for anyone....but times do warrant change and someone must rise to the top with the capability to right a listing ship.....so we have that leader in Iraq today making these changes.....

Another decision that has come out of the initial reforms that Abadi announced was the cancellation of advisors in positions with ministers whether they be temporary or permanent positions....they are also reviewing advisory positions for the President and Prime Minister as well....each Presidency had 5 advisory positions assigned to them.

Supreme Judicial directed to activate the department monitor the implementation of the arrest warrants and travel bans and reserve funds

The Supreme Judicial Council will be watching those who have counts of corruption made against them and will be monitoring the progress of arrest warrants, travel bans, and the status of reserve funds they may have associated with themselves.....this watchdog group is necessary to ensure proper guardianship is made with "all" of these individuals, especially since the kingpin was allowed to slither away last week....keep the remainder under close watch....and by all means keep others who may be in positions of authority who may eventually be identified as corrupt....keep them far away from anything to do with these crooks.

Supreme Judicial" directs the implementation of the orders of arrest and travel ban and book money to the accused of corruption

Yes I had to do a double take.....did WS post a duplicate article.....but not the case.....one of the judicial judges announced today the need to speed up legislation relating to the citizens and the judicial presence that is associated with the names given who will be arrested and charged with corruption, those who have travel bans placed against them.....this pertains specifically to the Code of Civil Procedures over any discrimination issues....they are working smartly to prevent any issue from arising that may allow those guilty of corruption to go free.

Deputy: the Judicial Council to accept Mahmoud retirement as part of the reform of the judiciary
Now it seems we have a reversal of the original position of the Judicial Council regarding the retirement request of President of the Supreme Judicial Council...it seems that his retirement was a part of the reform plan all along.....so this will be granted....it remains unclear at this point what if any ramifications his retirement will bring to any prosecution that may be brought before him in the future that pertains to corrupt activities.....NO ONE is above the law....remember that.

Abadi identifies three presidencies five advisers for each presidency and eliminates advisers in ministries

PM Abadi reaffirms his decision to eliminate the Vice Presidency positions along with the Deputy Prime Minister positions effective immediately last week....and he also has eliminated advisory positions to minister level positions, but is retaining five advisory positions for each of the three Presidency positions.....also reaffirming the opening of a Commission, "Where did you get this" to investigate and review for criminal charges any previously or currently held positions where corruption has been identified.....lastly is the reduction of his COM group from 33 ministers to 22 as of today....with those who have been eliminated not in attendance of today's COM meeting.

Maliki 'on the run' in Tehran in search of immunity or asylum
Maliki "on the run"......that is pretty accurate I believe.....he serves in no official capacity today for the Iraqi government so his going to Iran in any "official" capacity was a sham from the start.....the important issue is that he is out of Iraq....out of the government once and for all....and due to the likelihood of impending charges either from within Iraq or the International Criminal Court.....he is indeed "on the run"....

Yes he can still bark.....yes I think he can still be dangerous....he has many backers within Iraq still and within the military even....but will those backers attempt any kind of coup or uprising on his behalf.....I pray not.....Maliki is looking for support from Iran to put pressure on the Iraqi government to keep his name out of any type of prosecution....basically immunity....but I don't believe the people of Iraq will stand for that happening.

Economic: the effects of reforms Abadi will appear when preparing the 2016 budget

Look for the 2016 budget to illustrate the true meaning and results of the initial reforms that PM Abadi has presented to Parliament and the Iraqi people....the cutting of ministries, high ranking positions, associated security that went with those positions, the trimming of fat from the existing government positions as well as their security and staff details all will add up in time.....also the extreme focus upon corruption will provide some relief to the 2016 budget that may not have been there in previous years.....the people should bear witness to the ideas of integrity being taken to higher levels in Iraq and a focus as never before on savings within the government.

Nuri al-Maliki and Daash .. the most prominent challenges facing Iraq

These two may be prominent today but toward the future I think they will both be diminishing in their impact upon Iraq.....one shrinks in numbers due to the constant pressure being placed upon them at their positions of stronghold in Iraq....they are being eliminated slowly but surely....the other well he is out of sight, maybe not yet out of mind.....but he is a man on the run....and I believe his backers and supporters will dwindle as time passes.....to many have had their eyes opened to his atrocities, lies, and corruption.....there is a fate established for Maliki and it is not a fate of leadership.

Iraq Hires Banks Including Citigroup for $6 Billion Sale

Iraq is having a rummage sale....a $6 billion dollar rummage sale of bonds....they have hired some key experts to handle the sale, Citibank, JP Morgan Chase, and Deutsche Bank to be precise...these bonds are to be sold in "tranches" the first of which will be sold in 2015....they are in need of financial help to overcome budget deficits.....can this bond sale be the the end all save all for them....or is there yet another saving grace sitting upon the horizon....awaiting the return of Dr. S to a position of true authority....awaiting more reforms from PM Abadi.....is this bond sale a smoke screen of things to come.....keep tuned in for this evolution within Iraq to see how it will be play out for Iraq and the world.

Maliki will not return to Baghdad and Tehran acquitted even send a senior delegation to gain "immunity"

I don't look for Maliki to ever return willingly to Iraq.....I also don't think that PM Abadi will do any deal with Iran where Maliki's name is involved....NO ONE is above the law....remember....NO ONE....and Iran has their information wrong....Maliki is no longer a Vice President.....he lost that title before he ever left Iraq....they need to stop promoting his pipe dream.....Maliki has to be held accountable for his corruption, he led the way for 8 years in how to do corrupt deals and funnel money illegally out of Iraq.....he may be Iraqi, but only in name.....otherwise how could he so blatantly steal from Iraqis who are dirt poor and then look them in the face on a daily basis.....what an evil being that has to be.

Cabinet agrees to extinguish the debt owed by taxpayers to pay direct tax deduction

Today's COM meeting saw an agreement to dissolve any debt that is owed by Iraqi taxpayers....what a relief that has to be.....wonder where they will expect to pick up that lost revenue from.

Abadi: We will not hesitate to refer those involved to eliminate corruption
PM Abadi spoke before those who are left today as members of the Council of Ministers.....what has been done in the reduction of ministries and ministerial positions is done so to make the Iraqi government more effective and to eliminate unnecessary "slack" from within the government that has grown over the years in uncontrollable ways.....and it still means that those who are or will be found guilty of corruption will be prosecuted, handing them over to the Judicial system for trial.....COM also confirmed its commitment to continue forth with the transfer of powers away from the Federal government to the provincial or regional governments in a safe manner.

Abadi up to Basra on a surprise visit to discuss the paper reforms and study demands of the demonstrators
After the COM meeting today PM Abadi left for a surprise visit to Basra where he will discuss political and security issues with demonstrators in the province.....he will listen to the demands of the demonstrators who still are calling for the dismissal of the Basra governor.....Abadi mixing in with the citizens yet again.

Head of Mosul Investigation: Barzani In Clear

For what it is worth......the head of the investigation committee into the fall of Mosul claims that President Barzani of the Kurdistan is in the clear of any part in the fall of Mosul or any wrong-doing associated with the actions taken in the overrunning of Mosul by terrorists last year in June.....his name does not appear on the list of 30 odd officials that the committee did name as having a play in the tragic fall of the city.
Parliament: the distribution of salaries of deputies for the month of August will be a reduction of 45% in accordance with the reforms

Whether they knew it was coming or not, Parliament members will see a 45% reduction in their pay check for the month of August.....this is in line with reforms announced by PM Abadi last week....this comes on the heels of a 50% reduction in salary for the three Presidencies.

Economic adviser Ebadi: Talk about the bankruptcy of the state baseless speculation

We've seen some mention in the media and elsewhere that Iraq may suddenly be bankrupt and unable to make salary requirement for its employees.....Dr. Saleh says this is baseless speculation.....that the government is making salary requirements one of its top priorities.......the media can so easily be led astray....and unfortunately the less informed can also be easily swayed by what they read in the media......dream on naysayers of the world.

Zebari, head of the Iraqi government in the absence of Abadi

PM Abadi is thinking ahead, realizing that in his ouster of his Deputy PM's he needs someone who can step in and run the country in the event he is not able to do so either while traveling or because of some other emergency.....he has designated that person to be Finance Minister Zebari.....I am also thinking this should set Kurd President Barzani at ease that Abadi has no intentions at this time to push Zebari out if he is being named second in command in this fashion.....it also sounds like Abadi has the Constitutional authority to make such an announcement from the authority he has been granted as part of the reform process.

Well there you have it.....no neat bow....but the news summaries thus far on this day.....don't forget the Bible Study CC tonight.....and also....let me say thanks for the detailed notes from last night's CC....but if you didn't listen live.....go back and give Frank a listen on the playback.....it is worth your while.   Aloha    Randy

DINAR GURUS UPDATE, 18 AUGUST

8-18-2015  Newshound Guru Breitling  They [the CBI] are telling business and local banks to stop doing business with Iran…the main reason why is they [Iran] are trying to pump US dollars into iraq because they know they [Iraq] are trying to add value to the dinar and they [Iran] know one of the tools to keep the value of the dinar down was the US dollar…it's a back door confirmation of what the intent is of what Iraq wants to do.   They are cutting Iran off at the knees.  It's one thing if the CBI can scoop up those dollars and put them into the reserves…that's a good thing but there is so much that they're having a problem with it.  And it will keep the value of the dinar down if they don't tackle it.

8-18-2015   Newshound/Intel Guru BGG
Article quote:  "President of the parliamentary Economic Committee, Dr. Haitham al-Jabouri, an elite group of advisers, experts and academics...included within the plan of economic reforms and the issue of Iraqi dinar to float where participants set Of recommendations to be submitted to the Office of the Prime Minister."  Keep in mind...though high powered - this is a group of experts who got together and talked things over...(not the Gov of CBI or PM)...and are (or have) forwarding their idea(s) to Abadi...I am not sure "float" is the singular though - it is not impossible they could be talking about the IQD "going up"...My point is this - the translation "float" could be easily better "characterized" as "going up"...That is the STUNNER...  [Do you think its possible they still haven't decided how they are going to do this? meaning open to suggestions?]  For sure - they haven't even fully regained control of their own CBI yet... anything is possible.  more than whatever it is they are saying - is the "weirdly coincidental" timing of these few articles coming out...right around this "period of reform" by Abadi...this seems to be a time of "rapid change" - so things could unfold very, very quickly.

8-18-2015   Intel Guru Frank26
Tomorrow [Tuesday], YOU ARE GOING TO SEE UGLINESS...change is coming and it will be BRUTAL UGLY…BUT IT STARTED... The reform is going to be brutal starting tomorrow that’s necessary...   This time this cleaning is really at a warped speed…we’re talking DAYS…and it’s leading us to OCTOBER 1ST.   We feel that to be a deadline for the currency reform under the umbrella of the monetary reformations that lead to the lifting of the 000’s.   [post 3 of 3]

8-18-2015   Intel Guru Frank26
Let me talk about a BLACK LIST...it’s about removing the 000’s.  THEY CAN PUT THEM ON THE BLACKLIST – if we don’t see anything in a monetary reform change…the currency will be put on a black list – ...if it doesn’t happen by Oct. 1st... it would be disastrous for the monetary reform...  The international currency is the ONLY SOLUTION TO AVOID BEING PUT ON A BLACK LIST, IMO.   There’s lots of soldiers that are in Iraq to protect the new government. It’s going to become a democratic country – Insurgents don’t like that hipocrasy as long as they work with the new government. Our boots on the ground is to protect a new justice that’s about to come to bear.  JUSTICE….and the reinstatement of many reforms.  [post 2 of 3....stay tuned]

8-18-2015   Intel Guru Frank26
...on Tuesday our teams called us and said...the only way to get the MR [Monetary Reform] is for Mr. S [Shabibi] to come back!  In my strong opinion, Dr. Shabibi has been the quarter back, but... Dr. S said two years ago I got kicked out by Maliki – do you think I’m going to come back while he’s there? Of course not.  Six months ago, Abadi asked Dr. Shabibi to come back – but he said not under these conditions. Once I know the banks are secure and Aleck gone and get rid of Maliki’s son too...Dr. Shabibi said if you BUILD THIS FOR ME, I’ll be back...and I see that you’ve built what I want.  ...SOCIAL MEDIA, YOUTUBE…you can find "keywords" there...when you see "KEYWORD" substitute DR. SHABIBI...IMO.   Speculation of Dr. Shabibi being arrested...That’s BS.   [post 1 of 3....stay tuned]

TNT CHAT UPDATE, 18 AUGUST

TNT:

Iko Ward:
Forex did not revert to the CBI rate of 1166. It has stayed down in the low 1120's now for over 24 hours. That is new. When it polls now it only moves a couple points, not 30 or 40. This is supposed to be a big week. I think they are reflecting that…… if we get below 1110 we are well on our way IMO…. The best we have ever seen was 1105 back in January

Bobinfanu:  The US dollar is reacting to market activity. Our US treasury is not buying dollars. The Euro is inflated accordint to their economies. China needs to adjust the my buying wood saws for 35 cents or they will be too high for the market.

Iko Ward: Concerning the new CBI site. There is no need for a professional site developer working for the hottest government on the planet to "test" live on the web. They might need to make sure the gateway operates across the web but not the architecture. They may be setting people up to grab their emails or ever start charging membership fees.

According to Sheng, the conditions the IMF board places on China for the renminbi's entry into the SDR basket will therefore largely be dependent on the state of China-US relations. "The key, then, is what political price China is willing to pay to join the club," Sheng said, adding that the "real question" is whether China will start to "play a different game" if it fails to gain entry in November.

RMB's entry to SDR basket comes at a political price The IMF executive board will next meet *in November* to review the SDR composition and its valuation.

NurseGinger:
Okrocks~that is the million dollar question...timing...we don't know what we don't know.... Next month the US will have visitors from China and The Vatican. The Fed is also anticipated to raise rate next month also. We shall see....

Martha:  the Forex and the swift system are more visible and can not be shut off and on. The CIPS system which parrallels the swift IS on line and working at 100% it is stated that it is coming? It is here and functioning….. I had 2 interesting thoughts last night.one is we have to realize that most countries have 2 sets of monetary books but I wonder how many does China have…… and the other thing is how many people have seen the movie National Treasure?

Depaul13:  I believe China will wait another 48 hours…. China wanted to devalue 10%..... we are close

Martha:  You are probably right which would bring it to 8/20 but lets stay optimistic

Suggar:  every one is trying to position themselves in anticipation

Iko Ward: Depaul, Thursday always is a better day for movement. You may be right.

Depaul13:  Iko.... remember.... they want to have control

InfinitePower:
Here is a thought -- I don't think we will see the RV until all (Dinar) reserves have expired.... Also, the PTB could be waiting on IRAN to go in the first basket? What say you all......

Iko Ward:  infinite, those are both good possibilities. It's going to matter how much pressure China and the Iraqi people bring to bear.

Depaul13:  IKO... The bladder is Full in Iraq.... China see this

InfinitePower:  IKo Ward -- Every time they apply pressure ; The PTB has away to calm them down..

.Martha: I dont think it is actually be in a basket

Depaul13:  Martha.... I concur.... they won't be in this basket

Martha:
look this will happen whether the US likes it or not. WE need to end the last 100 years of tyranny in this country. It is sad but true that 200 countries have turned around and said enough is enough…..

Depaul13:
Exactly.... it is required to move into the future of our WORLD

NewCreation:  Martha, thank God they have…

Martha:  The PTB have made China as well as Russia the bad guys yet it is these countries aka BRICS that have come to rescue us.We are so programmed by the PTB and the media control that we cannot think for ourselves anymore. How many of our children have read 1984 by George Orwell and understand the premise of the story

InfinitePower:  martha --- the PTB are still in control...

Depaul13:  Infinite.... The Definition of PTB is Changing all the time my friend

Greatly Blessed:  This Could Be the Change Iraq Has Been Waiting For

http://www.defenseone.com/ideas/2015...=DefenseOneTCO

2:40 PM ET BY JANE ARRAF COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS

Public anger over rampant corruption and poor government service has sparked the most sweeping reform plan since Saddam fell.

It takes a lot to get Iraqis angry enough to take the risk of demonstrating in the streets. They’ve learned the hard way the cost of public protests. But this week, mounting public anger over lack of government services and rampant corruption sparked the most sweeping reform plan in Iraq’s post-war history.

Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, widely thought of as a man with good intentions but questionable clout, has managed to sell both his cabinet and Iraq’s famously fractious parliament on drastic political reforms aimed at reversing the most visible elements of a sectarian quota system in place since the United States ran Iraq.

The plan eliminates the positions of three vice presidents and three deputy prime ministers—posts used as bargaining chips between Shia, Sunni and Kurdish factions in almost every government since 2003. Abadi has also pledged to both pursue and reopen corruption cases against hundreds of Iraqi officials, including those in his own Shiite alliance.

Twelve years after Saddam Hussein was toppled, rampant corruption has collided with a serious financial crisis and the ongoing war against ISIS, prompting even Iraq’s most reclusive senior Shia cleric to warn that drastic measures were needed.

In the streets of Baghdad, it’s easy to see why. Iraq, OPEC’s second biggest oil producer, can’t provide enough electricity or even fuel to keep generators running in temperatures that top 120 degrees. When it gets too hot to provide air conditioning, the Iraqi government simply declares a holiday.

Under the political bargaining over the past decade, ministries are allotted to specific political parties and stuffed with party loyalists or people who have paid to get their jobs and, in turn, demand bribes for doing them.

All of this was business as usual until entire divisions of the Iraqi army collapsed in the face of the self-declared Islamic State’s onslaught last year. Commanders appointed for loyalty to former Prime Minister Nouri al Maliki oversaw a hollow army with corrupt officers, siphoning off money from food and ammunition and tens of thousands of nonexistent soldiers.

Politicians are still grappling with the fallout of the Islamic State’s massacre of more than 800 unarmed young military recruits last year near Tikrit, most from impoverished Shia communities in the southern Iraq. A year of protests by families demanding information about the fate of their relatives killed at Speicher base has paved the way for the wider demonstrations in Baghdad, Basra, and other cities.

At security checkpoints around the city, posters of soldiers, police and other security forces killed in battle in Tikrit, Baji and other battles plaster the walls.

“They sit in their air-conditioned offices and they send us out to die,” one soldier said of his commanders recently when I asked him about one of the fallen.

Former prime minister Nouri al-Maliki crushed demonstrations during his rule when plain-clothes police officers beat and stabbed protesters. He sent the army in to dismantle Sunni protest camps in the Anbar protest.

In these demonstrations, police who share the same complaints as other Iraqis, were handing out bottles of water and taking selfies with the protesters.

Maliki is one of the vice presidents who will lose his job assuming the reforms withstand an expected constitutional challenge. He has backed the reform plan but isn’t expected to disappear.

Others won’t go as quietly. Ayyad Allawi, a secular Shia who leads a largely Sunni party, won more votes than Maliki in 2010 elections but was outmaneuvered for the job of prime minister. He has called eliminating his role as vice president unconstitutional. The Kurds are also expected to oppose reforms that will weaken even further their share of power in Baghdad.

The plan would give Abadi the authority to fire corrupt or ineffective provincial governors and dissolve provincial and local councils, making him the most powerful prime minister in Iraqi history. Some worry that even the benign-seeming UK-educated engineer could be a dictator in the making.

The Arab Spring passed over Iraq after it started in Tunisia five years ago. Iraq’s dictator had already been toppled. These protests—broad-based and non-sectarian—reaffirmed their support for Prime Minister Abadi at the same time they demanded better government. With Iraq in danger of failing, it has given him a historic opportunity to help hold the country together.

MY LADIES CHAT WITH MEMPHIS, 18 AUGUST

MEMPHIS: Yesterday (or was it the day before) I wrote a bit about the inherent problems that always arise with a reserve currency that also serves as a domestic currency. Armstrong has today written directly on the topic and I would be remiss in not pointing to it.

It is well known to those here that the world is slowly transitioning away from it's dependence on our currency and so my intent is that we have an appreciation for the "why" for it is in this level of understanding that we can appreciate the vastness of what is taking place.

In so doing we can hopefully discern some of the effects that this will have on us personally for this shift away from the USD is a planned one.  It is being carried out with great intent and purpose and in further study we can (I believe) draw some conclusions as to what the future will hold by looking back to history!
....
Recall a basic tenant that I shared earlier that is so very important to be held onto:

"In the extremes, any nation will always do what is in their own best interest."

This has an important application to the discussion of the USD as a world reserve and if anyone does not accept the above as being a basic truth then we ought to pause and talk about it!

This is certainly not easy stuff to convey in a few words but if you'll bear with me what follows is some quotes taken from today's blog with my attempt to illuminate them.

[Here we see evidence of domestic pressure to do what's best for America]

"...the Fed is in a box and unless they raise rates, the next crisis in pensions will wipe out far more than most people anticipate."

[Now we look at external forces pulling the opposite]

"...everyone from the IMF to most other countries are begging the Fed not to raise rates for there are some $9 trillion dollar shorts out there."

[Compounding the problem we now read of other issues constraining the FED such as the servicing of our debt which is now tilted heavily to short term paper]

"...It is also true that cash is rushing into the short-term government paper (flight to quality) and raising rates will escalate the federal budget..."

[now we point to the real culprit: the USD being the world reserve]

"This entire problem illustrates that this is not merely a dollar and Sovereign Debt Crisis; this is also a RESERVE CURRENCY crisis."

"The IMF and other nations are pressuring the Fed not to raise rates because of external economic conditions. The Fed is caught in a real crisis where domestic policy objectives are being influenced by international policy of other nations — the INTERCONNECTIVITY. This is starting to peel back the layers of the global economy that are like an onion with everything connected."

to read in it's entirety:

http://www.armstrongeconomics.com/archives/35955

****************

MEMPHIS:  it's quite the corner that the FED has painted themselves into!  Years of low rates have favored the bankers and now it is soon to be time to come clean and raise rates or else sacrifice the entire pension system.

In my mind I have equated a decision (to not raise rates) to that of waving the white flag of surrender.  We do not want the FED to wave this flag and yet the alternative causes the world at large to suffer at the hands of our domestic policy decisions.

Either way we can (and should) expect....consequences...

***************

MEMPHIS:  Although I discount opinions in forming our model of the world it is helpful at times to use them for the purpose of forming an hypothesis to then be either proven or disproven (think geometry here).

One extreme possibility would be that the FED raises rates to protect any hope of the politicians maintaining order domestically and this then opens up (IMO) the possibility of a sudden and quite turbulent shift away from the USD.

"Sudden" and "turbulent" are words that the men (and women) behind the curtain generally avoid at all costs and so we are left to think further.

Here's a question that needs answering:

Is the IMF positioned to roll out the SDR as a global reserve in the near term? I do not profess to know the answer.

There have been hints that many debts have been denominated in SDR in recent years and yet this does not prove anything as there would need to be GREAT liquidity available for any SUCH quick and sudden "calling up to duty" of the SDR.

****************

HearingGod: My guess is that these people are not stupid and that the IMF is ready .... Mary has always said that the USD is not in near danger of sudden or drastic collapse .... In not sure that I agree and I think that if others don't realize the imminence of the sudden changes that could take place then the swing could be rapid. Just my thoughts

Sager:  The Turkish lira collapse, foreign debt and banking risk

Geopolitics is now another source of risk for the Turkish lira, government debt and Istanbul equities.

Turkey faces its worst currency and banking crisis since the failure of Lehman Brothers, HSBC and Citigroup's exit is a vote of no confidence in Turkish banking (Wall Street and the City of London CEOs cringe at Erdogan's "international interest rate lobby" tirades), the risk of a sovereign debt downgrade and external debt crisis is all too real.

The lira can well fall below three to the US dollar in the next interest rate cycle. Sadly, this means Gulf and Arab investors with billions of dollars in Turkish financial exposure face crippling losses as economic, geopolitical, sovereign, banking, inflation and funding risk will only escalate this autumn.
