PIF UPDATE: "WE WILL SEE THE PRIME MINISTER ON SUNDAY", 9 AUGUST

8-9-14 PIF: HERE IS MY OPINION:
I HAVE BEEN WATCHING CNN LAST NIGHT AND TODAY INSTEAD OF AL ARABIYA TV AND IN LISTENING TO DIFFERENT STATESMEN AND FORMER GENERALS WITH THEIR OPINIONS I DO BELIEVE WE HAVE A PRIME MINISTER.

WE WILL NOT SEE WHO IT IS UNTIL SUNDAY I’M SURE BUT OBAMA WAS BEING KNOCKED AROUND ON CNN FOR PUTTING CONTINGENCIES ON AID TO IRAQ.  FOR WAITING ON AIR STRIKES UNTIL THEIR GOVERNMENT WAS FORMED.

I FEEL AT THE VERY LEAST WE WILL NOT BE WAITING VERY LONG THIS TIME, THERE WILL BE NO MORE POSTPONEMENTS AND WE WILL SEE THE PRIME MINISTER ON SUNDAY.

I ALSO JUST HEARD ON CNN THE POSSIBILITY OF ORGANIZING A COALITION OF SEVERAL COUNTRIES (WHICH GETS REAL TRICKY REAL FAST) TO SEND COMBAT TROOPS IN AND ADDRESS THIS DAASH ISSUE VERY FAST.

THAT LINES UP WITH THE EMERGENCY CLOSED DOOR SECURITY COUNCIL MEETINGS LAST NIGHT.

SO FAR FRANCE AND ITALY CALLED FOR MEETINGS WITH THE SECURITY COUNCIL AND WE HAVE SEEN SEVERAL OTHER COUNTRIES OVER THE PAST 2 WEEKS (IN YOUR NOTES TOO) TAKE AUDIENCE WITH PRESIDENT FUAD AND OFFER SUPPORT TO ELIMINATE DAASH.

WITH A COLLECTIVE EFFORT THIS CAN BE DONE IN 2 DAYS.

LAST NIGHT WE ALSO READ THE CHIEF OF IRAQI FORCES TELLING US THE NEXT 48 HOURS WILL BE CRUCIAL.

IRAN HAS BEEN MORE THAN ANXIOUS TO HELP RID IRAQ OF DAASH BUT HAS PUT ON A SHORT LEASH SO FAR.

ANYWAY WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN TO US…..

I THINK AS HARD AS IT TO BELIEVE I THINK WE ARE QUICKLY APPROACHING STABILITY ON EVERY FRONT.

DO NOT LET ANY OF THIS GET YOU DOWN TO FAR.

IN THE NEXT COMING HOURS MANY THINGS ARE GOING TO HAPPEN I THINK AND HAPPEN VERY FAST.

I DON’T MEAN RV, I MEAN TO GET THE COUNTRY STABLE. THE REST WILL BE UP TO THE CBI.

AGAIN THIS IS JUST MY 25 CENTS WORTH OF OPINION. SO WE SIT AND WE WATCH, I WILL REMAIN BETWEEN AL ARABIYA AND CNN AND CONTINUE TO BRING YOU THE MOST RELIABLE NEWS REPORTS I CAN FIND.

ANONYMOUS POST, 8 AUGUST

Anonymous:
There is so much smoke and distraction flying about these days past. Many have become distressed and discouraged. Have faith that the end is upon us.

At this present moment, right now, there are 80 groups in the US who are extremely excited and positive as they are on the highest of alerts and are expectant to progress shortly.

There is a definite timeline and we're on it and at this very moment the USA and Iraq are adhering to the timeframe laid out by their Secretary of State, with its deadline, of today!

The deployment of US forces is to ensure that everything gets done by Saturday evening 9pm est. their Sunday, if all goes well we should see the PM position announced in their official Gazette, which in turn will force the international release of their currency (on Sunday).

It is envisioned that at this point we will be well prepared with the 800 # issued. Our banking and orderly exchange, should then begin. The rates are very high for all concerned, even when the public rate is announced the high value will be reflected and all shall share in the high exchange.

Whilst we must add the proviso that situations can change, however, even that is becoming highly unlikely.

Even though there has been lobbying and skirmishes in Washington today, the final stage has been set!

The world is ready and waits no more!

DINAR IRAQ & DONG VIETNAM UPDATE: WE HAD LAST NIGHT CONFIRMATION OF A NEW PM!!, 8 AUGUST

DINAR IRAQ & DONG VIETNAM:Yesterday evening Massoum made the call that the National Alliance was the largest bloc. The USA has confidence in knowing who the PM of Iraq is going to be.

Hours after the US had confirmation, Obama makes his television appearance announcing military support…no combat troops!! But ya know combat troops and special forces are 2 different things.

What we had last night is confirmation of a new PM and it is not Maliki! Maliki is NO MORE !

DC, TLM724 & BONDLADY TIDBIT, 8 AUGUST

8-8-2014  Intel Guru DC    I myself have been surprised by something else:  several folks have said in the news that President Obama and team have found an extra 500 billion dollars through various means.  Where do you have 500 billion dollars just show up?  There are articles in US news sources about that...The general public will see the economy finally taking off...  All the guys in the UST and the Fed are getting through the final checklist, meeting with banks and Homeland Security, getting ready for the distribution.  Everyone is lined up, prepared, ready to go, and let’s pray this is the final thing.

8-8-2014  Intel Guru DC
Over in Iraq we have a PM selected and most cabinet members as well.  The PM, Speaker and President are all ready to go, and everyone is under locked guard. They have announced in their television, newspapers and mosques that the PM will be announced on Sunday.  Maliki is still there but I’m 95% sure the PM won’t be him. President Obama got on world television last night and said that Iraq is announcing their PM in the next few days.  And that puts pressure on everyone...What’s different is that he got on TV and said it in public.  [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]

8-8-2014   Newshound Guru tlm724
Obama said he had approved "targeted strikes against [ISIS] convoys should they approach the city."    I will tell you all ...once the gate was opened for airstrikes there is no going back. This will be a swift and targeted campaign. We do NOT need boots on the ground for success!  Iraq MUST appear the victor in this so that these terrorist cells won't come back once the US is no longer present.

8-8-2014   Newshound Guru Bondlady
what 1st started out as a protest for Malikis last term has turned into a full scale blood bath to rid him of his 3rd term...a real man and lover of his people would have stepped aside if he wasn't so full of hatred for what was done to him on his 2nd term now he clings again to power for 3 reasons greed, power and paybacks...all wrong reasons for sure.

THE MEAT OF TODAY'S TNT CC BY DALLASDIVA, 8 AUGUST

  1. Tony hopes we look at the news, world, and humanity differently after the RV.
  2. Iraq situation is: PM selected and announcement scheduled for their Sunday.  Consider that this is an Arabic culture and timing is subjective on Sunday.
  3. Havoc being caused by Maliki and his followers but he is not going to be allowed to continue. He is actually being charged with war crimes. Background on this man is very tragic and brutal and when he got in power he did extract retribution and went too far. A large reason for the many stops and starts to the RV has been this man and our agreements for immunity and whether we can live up to them.  And, he's refused to gracefully ride off into the sunset politically as the PM.
  4. Maliki is still powerful and his political opponents were scared of him and unwilling to move until "protections" in place.  Those protections are now in place.
  5. When ISIS came surging into Sunni run regions - the Sunni's allowed and assisted them because they were anti- Maliki against his retribution tactics.  And, Maliki ORDERED the Iraqi forces to stand down and LET them take over.  This was so he could declare a state of emergency and keep his power and PM position.  This backfired on him terribly.  Our Military assistance and the Iraqi forces are being successful at routing the ISIS insurgency.  This is what we are seeing on the news.
  6. Tony, DC, and TNT send heartfelt sympathy to the Iraqi people for this situation.  We are not just about the money.
  7. Blackout in country yesterday for security reasons - prepping for announcements and RV.
  8. Everyone is pressing for the RV for it's stabilizing effect in Iraq.  OUR PRESIDENT GOT ON OUR NATIONAL TV TO PRESS THE ISSUE ON THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE PM. So, that is a public nudge to stop this constant stalling. AND - HE SAID PREVIOUSLY THAT USA WOULD NOT STEP INTO IRAQ UNTIL THEY HAD A STABLE GOVERNMENT AND MALIKI WAS GONE AND YESTERDAY WE STARTED BOMBING ISIS.
  9. POTUS also announced the discovery of 500 Billion dollars to assist the US economy!!  (nudge, nudge, wink wink)
  10. This is the start of what we are a part of - so this is how the deficit will start coming down and the surplus is created for the PUBLIC to understand.
  11. DC says look for the "U6 number" to come down to illustrate the health of our economy. (read or listen to his explanation)
  12. Everybody is lined up prepared and ready for this to POP.

TNT CC NOTES: THE PM WILL BE ANNOUNCED SUNDAY, 8 AUGUST

TNT Call Notes 8-Aug-2014

Tony: It’s 8/8 and we are ready to get this show on the road!

Pam: What is DC’s height? I want to have someone to play with under the bus here.  Tony never throws Ray under the bus anymore…

Tony:  Good morning, TNT!  Today is Friday, August 8, 2014.  Before I start the call, I’m looking at the board and I see some familiar numbers… oh, they’ve dropped off!  IF you have been on the call in the last few weeks, let someone have a turn.

We’ve been getting great questions and comments, but we would like to hear from others, too.

Before we start, we have people from TNT and OM show up at my mother’s service – thank you for showing up, sending flowers, etc.  I talked to some people yesterday about it, and they seemed surprised that you all showed up from the radio show and OpenMIke, especially the ministers who took part.

We’ll do our normal call today, with DC doing East to West, and a more in-depth understanding of the difference between what you see on television, what we are hearing, and what’s actually taking place in the Iraq, and hopefully why as well.

At the end of the call, when certain announcements are made – even in the last 48 hours – when this is all over you will have learnt something you never would have thought of, including some politics, how business is really done, and helped you to look at the news a little differently.

Our aim is to expose you to a part of the world that you would never have known or believed otherwise. That’s what I hope we get out of this, and take forward after we have money in our pockets. The news will not stop, but we will have a better understanding of how we can help and fit in with all races and ethnicities – all parts of mankind – because we should have experienced some of it.

It should have taken away some of your prejudices, at least a little bit.  As we go through this today, look at that and what we’ve gone through in the last few years.

DC:  Thanks for keeping us focused on the larger picture.  East to West… we’ll spend a bit more time in Iraq because it’s been in the news more, and it looks very different from what we think here.

Over in Iraq we have a PM selected and most cabinet members as well.  The PM, Speaker and President are all ready to go, and everyone is under locked guard.

They have announced in their television, newspapers and mosques that the PM will be announced on Sunday.

There is much cheering at this and people dancing in the streets. That’s a great place for Iraq to be, and getting there peacefully.  There has been a lot of jockeying to get all this done, inside and outside the country, and it is stabilizing.

We’ve seen some stuff from Maliki and his less friendly, less democratic colleagues.
They have been causing havoc, but it’s more pinpoint than broad issues.  Maliki is still there but I’m 95% sure the PM won’t be him. That should be released on Sunday.

Any questions on parliament/politics in Iraq, Tony?

Tony:  Communications blackout yesterday…?

DC:  Yesterday morning, sometimes for fun I spend time on the phone with the Middle East first thing;  it’s easy to get hold of my friends over there. Starting at 2 our time, I started having phone issues, and normally when there is a security reason they start interrupting communications, and this went on through midday.

I did get hold of some friends through secure sat-phones, and then we found others were having trouble, too.

They were prepping for an announcement and RV functions.
Our understanding is that the prep is taking a bit of time, maybe a bit overboard.

For those who have a technical background, it’s very difficult to shut out an entire country, so there must have been significant effort to do that. It’s a positive sign that they are taking seriously, for a specific purpose.

Tony:  If anyone listening, we are giving the best information we  can. We did NOT get any direction this morning, just not to beat any individual up.  We are just helping to keep dinarians calm, still within the family.  I hope everyone understands that.

Let’s go to the news briefing, yesterday in the news they talked about charging M with war crimes?

DC: That plays an important part in the stopping and starting with last-minute changes.  Good old Maliki was a rebel leader, and most of his family was killed by Ba’athist regime under Saddam Hussein.  His group was doing guerrilla warfare in the surrounding countries, in exile, being hunted by Saddam’s goons looking to kill him.

He saw his own brother killed in front of him, and most of the male members of his family are dead in those 20-30 years of running from Saddam.  He’s looking for retribution, and when he got into power, he went after the Ba’athists, which is understandable.  What he did, though, was to take it too far by all accounts.  He tortured people, set up assassinations and all the rest.

Many Ba’athists were prosecuted, but also there were camps and other bad things that Maliki directed personally or was part of the team.  He’s don’t some other rough things because he grew up playing rough and that’s how he led as well.  As PM, he did take some positive measures, but he also burned a lot of bridges.  Some of the families of those killed want charges against Maliki.  Things started, and those against M would bring pressure against M, his family and his team.  That os the main reason we’ve had all these stops and starts.

A lot of pressure boils down to the skeletons in M’s closet, and he reacts and his opponents are reacting to those, back and forth.  As he ends his administration, he was jockeying for immunity.  His position is that he was just doing his job, and his opponents are saying he went way too far.  That should all give context to why Maliki is still involved.  He gave a large party of his life to his party and the various aspects.

Tony:  On Wednesday, 7,500 families at the Hague were making this public, with television articles and so on to ensure that Maliki does NOT get that illegal third term as PM.

DC:  He’s going to have to spend a lot of time and energy on dealing with criminal charges rather than interrupting the new government.  I want to compare and contrast that with the US system, as most on the line are American.

Most other countries have also had the precedent where the former presidents, etc., the leader steps back.  M has refused to step back, and everyone knows he is there, and they want him to back out.  It’s like a former President refusing to leave the White House, and so people are bringing up serious accusations of what he has done.

Tony:  There is no way, regardless of what is going on, that any country would actively take out another country’s President. We’re not going to do that, no matter what! The fact that he is who he is, with all these connections, was of concern to the people coming into power. Certain protections had to be put in place before they would move.  Even though there are new people, they are still scared of Maliki, and that is what we have been waiting for, those protections being in place.

DC: That’s enough about the political stuff.  Let’s talk about ISIL/ISIS.

This was started as a militant organization against folks in the Syrian government, like a bad franchisee of al-Queda, run by bright Sunnis who don’t mind a fight. Maliki has been focused on the Sunnis (as opponents) because most Ba’athists were Sunnis, and they spent so much time hitting on everyone else.

Maliki is taking vengeance, basically, for what they did to him and his family.  The Sunnis are a huge population, and they have felt left tin the dark with this Maliki government.

When ISIS came along and stood up for Sunni rights, they were welcomed in the majority-Sunni regions like Faluja.  That is why ISIS have been successful, so long as they don’t do anything too outrageous.

Instead of resisting, the Sunnis are letting them in and letting them bring in arms and foods and policing the situation as a pseudo-government in those occupied cities and regions.
There isn’t much resistance.  In order to keep power, M wanted a state of emergency to be declared, so he told some of the top generals to put down their arms and go on vacation, that they can subdue them later and look like heroes.  That’s how 1,700 folks with AK-47s could take over a town with 7,000 armed troops in a few hours.
Maliki told them to back off.

However, that became a wildfire that took on a life of its own and is now a major problem. It took a lot of people by surprise.

In most places, ISIS is easily routed;  in others, they are fairly well trained and do a good job. Their tactical plans have been straightforward;  they take over the soft targets where there is not much resistance such as oil refineries and bridges rather than towns.

So it looks like they are everywhere, but it’s really more infrastructure points. That can be dealt with by military forces fairly easily.  When the Iraqi army gets their back up, they are effective, especially with helps from Special Forces from many  countries in the world, advising and equipping the Iraqi army.  That’s the background of what’s going on.

Tony:  Even though it looks terrible on CNN, and parts are terrible, it can be controlled as soon as they want it to be.

Meanwhile, there is a reason for how it looks that we will talk about later. That’s enough to let you know that what you’re seeing is not everything that is going on.  There is a control mechanism that is only partially activated, for a reason.

DC:  Iraq is important to understand, and I’m sure we all have friends asking questions about what is going on.

Tony:  I want to move to something else, but first I want the people of Iraq to know we hate seeing them go through this.  We feel their pain and what is affecting people’s personal lives with their families. We are sorry they have to go through that.  We are not just here for the money and how fast we can get paid;  we want it to come to an end for you and your families as well.

DC:  A lot of this violence is needless. However, Iraq will soon be such a shining star that is will shock everyone, and be something to be proud of.

How does Ukraine relate to this?  There are a lot of the same players involved. What has hurt and helped is that the gripes and complaints in Ukraine have filtered into Iraq, such as Russian actions and aggression spilling over.

Many have been ignoring that Iraq was going to purchase many things from Russia, such as arms, because Russia doesn’t ask as many questions.  This situation with Ukraine has shifted world sentiment so that they feel they cannot trust Russian any longer.  They are wondering who they can trust.

In the US, the UN Security Council is if anything over-eager about the Iraqi PM, and also helping with humanitarian issues in the north of Iraq. They are being pushy about getting this RV moving on.  The RV is a stabilizing force because rich people don’t fight – they have police and lawyers to help in their security,  The UN is pushing on that as well.

The IMF is coordinating timing and keeping the peace with everyone, and it’s all lined up nicely for the RV.  Some in the admin who were not supportive in the past are now feeing Iraq has got to a stable point, more of less, and that this RV will help. They are putting their backs into it, and we’re grateful for that.

Tony:  Iraq says they will name their PM on Sunday, but they were going to do that on Wednesday, Monday, etc.  They keep wanting extensions and someone has been agreeing with them. What is big and different about today in the US?

DC: President Obama got on world television last night and said that Iraq is announcing their PM in the next few days.  And that puts pressure on everyone to stop farting around and get on with it.

What’s different is that he got on TV and said it in public.  He and his advisors agree that the RV situation needs to be in order to help stabilize the country.

That is what’s needed:  a  joint government and a joint deal with the currency reforms.  That is finally completed.  Also, the administration.

Tony:  The President said they would not give Iraq any help until Maliki was gone and they had a stable government that we could see.  That help started yesterday.

DC:  And we couldn’t’ get through to Iraq yesterday. This is a wonderful thing, that help is now flowing.  I myself have been surprised by something else:  several folks have said in the news that President Obama and team have found an extra 500 billion dollars through various means.

Where do you have 500 billion dollars just show up? Under his mattress?  I can picture him asking Michelle for his keys.

Tony: This in not like the money Maliki found two years ago in his closet.

DC: There are articles in US news sources about that, and part of that information is coming out about where it’s showing up from:  tax receipts, retirements, and costs associated with domestic issues.

Think of the poverty that will be diminished by this, the amount of food, shelter, clothing and all the rest that churches will not need to find now that this 500 billion dollars has been.

Tony: This is part of exposing what we are part of.  There will never be an announcement on the evening news that we have all this extra money suddenly.  This is the start of it, and they will do something with that to generate more money so that the deficit can come down and there will eventually be a surplus.

We cannot just wipe out the deficit without explaining what we are doing there.

DC:  Not everyone will take it well that for a thousand bucks they could have become millionaires.

Instead, U6 (the underemployment rate) will start to plummet, while the economy heats up. The UB number is what the Fed and all other economists pay attention to. Right now it is 12-13.  So if you had to take a job way below your skill set just to feed your family, that would show up in the U-6, as when a skilled engineer is waiting tables.

They combine unemployment and underemployment to get that U-6 figure. Higher values there tends to freeze the economy. Once that number starts creeping down, which it will, fast, then it means people will be employed at the best level possible.

Once it gets to 10 or 8% then it will be hotter than hell and affecting everyday folks who are employed and can afford what they require while working at a job that suits their skill level.

The general public will see the economy finally taking off and going gang-busters;  tax receipts go up, costs on domestic programs down, and school funding goes up.  The mass population will see that the economy is improving, out of the blue.

Tony:  So far, everything should tell you that you had a great day yesterday, even if you didn’t know it. That is continuing today with what we know is going on. No matter what others in DinarLand are telling you, about the bad and crazy news.  The only crazy thing would be in the RV happens TODAY;  otherwise, you’ve had a great day!

DC:  All the guys in the UST and the Fed are getting through the final checklist, meeting with banks and Homeland Security, getting ready for the distribution.

In the UST, there are meetings happening all over, and most people believe that this is really going through now.

I have had surprised calls myself!  This morning a meeting that was supposed to take an hour yesterday afternoon took four hours, because everyone was making sure they were getting ready properly.  Banks are ready and prepped, ditto bank security. Homeland is ready.  All the notifications have gone out to all the right people, with their ‘final briefing’ one more time, again.

Tony:  They are saying the same thing we are saying: The PM will be announced Sunday.

DC: Everyone is lined up, prepared, ready to go, and let’s pray this is the final thing.

Tony:  It’s not Sunday yet.

DC:  About timing on Sunday, etc… Iraq is an Arab country, and those countries are not driven by time the way we are in the US.

If we say 9am, Tony will call me at 9.01 to ask what’s happening. Timing in Arab countries is more of a strong suggestion, so if there are all these mosque announcements, those are important, but it may not be on the morning news.  Just relax, take a chill pill, and let the news come through.

Tony:  This is their moment, their currency and their life, and they are just as proud as we are.  So let’s go to some questions:  this first one has been holding for three hours.  Caller, let me ask you to tell me what this means to you, what are the first things you look to do when this happens, how you intend to pay this forward…

DINAR GURUS UPDATE, 8 AUGUST

8-8-2014   Intel/Newshound Guru tman23  IMO, Yesterday evening Massoum made the call that the National Alliance was the largest bloc.  The USA has confidence in knowing who the PM of Iraq is going to be.  Hours after the US had confirmation, Obama makes his television appearance announcing military support...no combat troops!! But ya know combat troops and special forces are 2 different things. What we had last night is confirmation of a new PM and it is not Maliki!  Maliki is NO MORE !

8-8-2014   Newshound Guru Tlar
Both al-Jubouri and Masum, the new POP and the POR have threatened to quit if Maliki is brought to the floor as the next PM nominee. Everything seems to be building to this Sunday.   It is now my belief that Maliki will have to be taken out because he is delusional and still believes that the votes he received are real and the people want him. Sunday we should see a two step process. The first is the declaration that the NA is the largest block and second a nominee for PM position. Depending on how that turns out, we will probably see a new government.   [post 2 of 2]

8-8-2014   Newshound Guru Tlar
Many have voiced their concern over the events revolving around the ISIS push into Kurdistan.  Kurdistan has been keeping a watchful eye on the ISIS but what the ISIS did was to attempt to break out of the boundary that they have been allowed to occupy as they are used as the reason to oust a dictatorship.  As soon as the new government takes its seat (hopefully this Sunday), these guys will be routed out of the areas they have been allowed to occupy in Iraq, pushing them back into Syria.  They are what's providing the urgency to the political process and for the time being a necessary evil.   [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]

8-8-2014   Intel Guru Mnt Goat
I have said many times, when the USA begins stepping up operations to assist in the issues with the militants ISIS, we are very close to getting the government fully seated and our RV. The USA efforts now are stepping up to fight the militants because they now know that the forming of the Iraq government has turned a milestone and has selected their final candidate for prime minister. They know he will very shortly be seated. They know the council of ministers is also all selected. They are darn sure Maliki is out.  Also remember there is looming Iraq budget that desperately needs to be opened and spent. They need to vote and seat this new prime minister and do it quickly.  [post 3 of 3]

8-8-2014   Intel Guru Mnt Goat
I whole heartedly believe they did submit a candidate to the president yesterday and...They did meet their constitutional deadline.  There is no constitutional requirement for them to announce globally their candidate for prime minister. This formal announcement requirement only comes once he is seated and has taken his oath. Now the president has until the end of today Friday 8/8 to send the name to parliament and they must approve (or vote in the council of representatives a confidence level of this candidate) If they get a majority of members to vote confidently on this candidate he will then take the oath and get his mandate as the third prime minister of Iraq.  This most likely will not happen today since it is Friday, their holy day. I however expect by Sunday we will be hearing the news they have a new prime minister.  [post 2 of 3....stay tuned]

8-8-2014   Intel Guru Mnt Goat
there was a delay in announcing the candidate until Thursday which was yesterday. This delay was to allow time to go back to the supreme court for a hearing on the topic of who is the majority bloc.  The courts referred back to the 2010 decision once again and said their decision back then is final and it will not waive. By applying the decision the National Alliance is the overwhelming majority boc and so has the power to form the new government and thus sub the candidate to the president to forward to the name  parliament. This was a very positive sign for us yesterday. This is what we all was wanted. So it now does not matter what Maliki demands or wants. His own party now no longer supports him.  [post 1 of 3....stay tuned]

8-8-2014   Newshound Guru Aggiedad77
Article:  "Obama authorizes airstrikes in Iraq against Islamic State"  Quite the jump from nothing can be done to militarily help Iraq, it must be done politically...honestly glad to see that we are taking action...highly suspect that we already took action before this announcement...

8-8-2014   Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3   [will ISIS slow this whole thing down?]  BEEN ASSURED BY TURKI AND FINANCE MINISTERS THE POLITICAL OR ISIS DISRUPTION WILL NOT EFFECT THE FINANCIAL REFORM PROCESS.   [don't know if you heard that O  gave the ok to do airstrikes?]  BEEN STRIKING FOR 3 WEEKS, THAT'S DIRECT FROM IRAQ --- LIMITED STRATEGIC STRIKES BUT YES THEY HAVE KILLED MANY ISIS TROOP IN THE LAST 3 WEEKS. WHAT I WAS TOLD YESTERDAY... they have done the best job ever of painting ISIS MUCH WORSE THAN THEY ARE SO THIS CHARADE OF WAR WILL BE CLEARED UP VERY FAST.  WEEKS AGO I TOLD EVERYONE INFORMATION FROM A LEADER IN IRAQ WAS TELLING ME WHAT WAS BEING REPORTED WAS ALL BULL CRAP.

8-8-2014   Newshound/Intel Guru BGG
[will ISIS slow this whole thing down?]   No - speed it up if anything.

8-8-2014   Intel Guru Bear5642
My sources indicate that Maliki is out and I honestly feel we need the completion of the GOI. The CBI must have a functioning government however, I have total complete peace concerning the RV. We have all been in this for a very long time and we are so close...

8-8-2014   Newshound Guru Tlar
"The President of the House of Representatives Saleem al-Jubouri, on Thursday, lifting the parliamentary session of the fifth legislative term of the first parliamentary session of the third day to the next Sunday..."   The coalition needs to get this issue of the biggest block resolved.  The more this drags on the more dangerous Maliki will get.   ...IMO it had better not drag on past Sunday as far as what or who is the largest block.  It doesn't bode well for our side  if it goes into next week unresolved. The coalition seems to have hit a brick wall.  The coalition needs to quit trying to involve the SOL and just cut them off at the knees and have the INA declared the largest block.   Delaying it only makes it worse and risks success.

(Note: Please Keep Checking Back as we are adding more  updated posts~Thank You)

L Kemple: (My guess).  This is the final take of this production.

MSM is distracting public as we were told they would do when the RV was here. ISIS is being targeted with laser strikes.

GOI business is done.  Watch the dollar vs gold and oil.  They are moving parallel to each other; as dollar goes down oil/gold going up.

Planning builds a bridge to success.  We are at the finish.  That's all.

Lucky8: Over the next 48 hours we will be seeing media spin to hide the RV, but the naming of the Prime Minister and release of the budget signals the launch, probably Sunday...

Don't listen to the TV but follow the money... You need to understand the ANGLE the government is taking is for all our best interest as we finally hit our target.

Mr. Chen:planning equals success strategy
watching the finish line
that's all folks..

main stream media are misdirecting the public on what is happening in Iraq with full force/throttle.
follow the money trail.
The budget and the PM will happen at the same time on Sunday.

main stream media are misdirecting the public on what is happening in Iraq with full force/throttle.

TLAR UPDATE: CONSTITIUTIONALLY THE NEW GOVERNMENT MUST HAVE A PM BY SUNDAY, 8 AUGUST

Tlar:  "Constitutionally the new government must have a PM by Sunday."

Tlar Comment - Many have voiced their concern over the events revolving around the ISIS push into Kurdistan.

Kurdistan has been keeping a watchful eye on the ISIS but what the ISIS did was to attempt to break out of the boundary that they have been allowed to occupy as they are used as the reason to oust a dictatorship.

The ISIS, in going into Kurdistan, temporarily got out of the acceptable bottle that had been established in the northern Sunni areas. The US and the Pesmerga have reacted quickly and the ISIS will be put back into their bottle.

The US is supplying airpower to remove them from entrenched ISIS areas and the Peshmega is supplying the ground offensive. When the ISIS is pushed back into their bottle IMO the fighting will slow to a crawl.

As soon as the new government takes its seat (hopefully this Sunday), these guys will be routed out of the areas they have been allowed to occupy in Iraq, pushing them back into Syria.

The Sunni's will route them with assistance from the Pesmerga, the US and the regular Iraqi army supported by the international community.

Until there is a new government, this will continue and it will continue to appear the ISIS is a major threat. If they step out of their boundary again, they will be pushed back.

At this time no one wants to fight these guys as it would appear to be in support of the Maliki government and just like the US and others have said, they will offer the new government all the help it needs to remove the ISIS.

They are what's providing the urgency to the political process and for the time being a necessary evil.

Maliki continues to waffle on resigning and dropping out of the race for PM. Iran has told Maliki in no uncertain terms he needs to resign. 6 Ayatollas have stepped up to back al-Sistani's call for Maliki to step down (al-Sistani is the Ayatolla of Iraq).

The US has told Maliki he needs to step down. His own party the SOL is now on record as telling him in a meeting last night, they will no longer nominate him as the next PM and have asked him to step down.

The Sunni's and the Kurds have threatened to break away from Iraq if Maliki is nominated for the PM spot. The international court is filing genocide charges against him and has received testimony and photographs proving his guilt. A website has been started in Iraq and is collecting millions of signatures for the prosecution of Maliki.

Maliki gave a rambling speech yesterday saying basically the people voted for him and if he is not picked as the nominee, fires from hell will break out in Iraq. Last night at a meeting with his party the SOL, he threatened members and repeated the fires from hell line. The guy is going nuts and is a major threat.

Both al-Jubouri and Masum, the new POP and the POR have threatened to quit if Maliki is brought to the floor as the next PM nominee. Everything seems to be building to this Sunday.

Constitutionally the new government must have a PM by Sunday.

It is now my belief that Maliki will have to be taken out because he is delusional and still believes that the votes he received are real and the people want him.

Remember he stole 1 out of every 6 votes cast in the election and he stole 7 MP's from Diyala meaning that out of the 95 supposed MP's his party received only 30-35 were actually won. The rest were stolen.

I think he really believes the people want him but their leadership is what he is fighting much like Idi Amin thought just before he was removed. He definitely has a dictator mentality. This is a serious problem but the end is in sight

Sunday we should see a two step process. The first is the declaration that the NA is the largest block and second a nominee for PM position. Depending on how that turns out, we will probably see a new government.

On another note. Some of you have shown concern about the article on the new 10,000 dinar note that was put out this week. The CBI said they would be distributing this note at the end of August.

This is a new note to the streets but not a new note they plan to print. The new note was printed along with all the other notes in October of last year but the 10,000 has not been distributed yet.

Rather than retype my response to this I will just copy a response I sent to John. Here it is:

John, the CBI reprinted all the notes at the end of last year (Oct) and the CBI has been introducing them to replace the old notes. They reprinted the 250, 500, 1000, 5000, 10,000 and 25,000 notes.

The overall printing was 5 trillion total dinars to replace a projected 3 trillion they thought was still "circulating". They reprinted un- counterfeitable notes so that Iran could no longer print their currency.

These are the 10,000 dinar notes reprinted in October of last year that they are just now letting out. All these new notes are not being added to circulating currency but rather just replacing circulating currency on a one to one basis to protect the dinar from State sponsored counterfeiters (Iran)..

Since they printed the notes, the CBI also has changed the rules on allowing a bank to sell US dollars (dollarizing) requiring them to deposit in the CBI all of their dinars that they have.

This smart move by the CBI reduced the estimated dinars in circulation by maybe as much as a trillion or more.

So in one feld swoop the CBI collected all the dinars from all the independent banks wishing to continue to sell USD (their biggest profit center) and set up accounts in USD.

This was about 90% of the independent banks which means the CBI removed 90% of all the dinars from these banks at one time. Those dinars are mainly the old dinars and will never see the street again.

After the dinar has a bigger value, they will release the new smalls only. Of course the CBI will continue to replace exiting circulating dinars as they can.

When they change the value of the dinar, they will be mainly selling dinars, buying back USD.

If I am right, they will get $3.00+ for each dinar they sell, and as they put the dinar back on the street they will be adding to their reserves on a 1 to 1 basis.

This should increase the reserves exponentially as they recapture the billions and billions of USD they have sold as they have dollarized Iraq over the years. Hope this helps. Tlar
