I THINK IT WILL BE BEFORE JANUARY 1, 24 NOV

[Jeff] letitbe I think it will be before January 1. What I am looking at as milestones beyond what is stated in the recaps article is this: 1) The USA has no budget why? 2) The EURO meetings ended with no budget why? they stated next year 3) On CNBC Marc Faber plainly stated that we will wake up on a Monday and things will have changed [Jeff] Also what is up with Monday and Greece? How can their be no budget for the Euro blocs and yet they save Greece on Monday? [Jeff] One more how come the markets went up on Friday in most categories and the flipping Euro went up in value? No budgets? Debt laden and fiscal cliff imminent all interesting

[marmeysue]. So, I really think we are that close to this happeneing.

[SSO_Scooby] I am betting Malki is just waiting on this ch7 to lift and he going to tell everyone of who is who go jump in the gulf ocean an tell them you cannt tell me nothing now ...and then WE will see what kind of person malki is IMO

[jcal] He might try but he wont make it

[Expendable3] He's kinda doing that already lol

[jcal] Just for show

[brobi] im betting they wont lift chapter7 till he is gone

[Florida] SSO_Scooby well, chap 7 can't life until the RV occurs. So maybe he is waiting for that. So are we all. LOL

jcal] 4,487 dead, and 32,226 wounded in Iraq Malki will do what he is told. he may not like it but he will weither in chpt 7 or not.

[jcal] We are not going to allow another dictator to take over Iraq.

[pjs] bbl

[jcal] Malki knows we will let the cat out of the bag if he goes aganist us. He commited war crimes.

[Capt Ron] When the time comes to execute this (highly synchronized) global currency realignment, no tin pot dictator wanna-be in Iraq will be asked for his opinion.

[Capt Ron] And that will be true in other countries in addition to Iraq.

[jcal] True

[Capt Ron] It does seem that, from reading Scooby's stuff, that that time of reckoning is getting very close.

[Capt Ron] I like it.

 [findmoney] Hello everyone

[findmoney] Spent some days away really looking at this. I think we are real close to see this happen and here is why

 [Dinarblessed] findmoney Go for it!!!!

[fantasia] findmoney so what you got to share?

[ [findmoney] Geo Policitacal positioning is / has been behind schedule

[findmoney] Easy way to look at it is this.

[findmoney] The USA has obviosly been ready for this since 2009. There has been NO paper bills ( Fed notes) put in circulation since then. Just look.

[findmoney] Then you have the EU crisis going.

[deniseanderson] findmoney and the US going off fiscal cliff, EU crisis has been going on how long, US hasn't pasted a budget, it makes me think there is SOMEONE that does want this to take place, they [governments] have the fix SO why not do it thats my opinion

[findmoney] deniseanderson Has to happen in some way. In other countries they hit the streets to protest. Here the Gov Handout people get up at 4 am to go buy a 40 inch TV for 199

MEMBERS OF DINAR ALERT DISCUSSION, 24 NOV

Kaperoni:   Good point maxgirl.  It does not matter who is in charge of the CBI.  As stated several times, any substantial currency changes (RV, float or whatever) would require the coordination of many agencies or departments in Iraq.  ie..security, engineering, advertising.

KAPERONI :  Saturday, November 24 2 / November 2012  BAGHDAD / Oruz

For the release of 16 female from the Central Bank on charges of currency auction sale

I learned Agency (UR) of informed political sources that the judiciary decided to release 16 female out of 20 have been detained on suspicion Btorthen corruption regard ERA selling the currency in the Central Bank of Iraq last month.  (Snippet – Full Article & Link Below)
Terry:    Now, I wish they would give the good Dr. Shabibi a break also. Not gonna happen!

Fast Eddie:  let me quot a little for you all.

"He continued that "the families of these employees need to clarify those decided arrested after nearly a month of being arrested, and released for lack of evidence."

Now if they have lack of evidence for them I was say lack of evidence on Shabibi & that alone should send up red flags to IMF & World Bank.
Carrello:  I think the flags blew a while ago.......we as Americans are focused on a screen, and we have the remote in hand switching channels trying to find the programming that makes sense to us.  That channel does exist in Iraq or with the IMF.

We are looking for events to pass on our timeframe and cultural values, and that is not going to happen.  Iraq and their players can continue to do this awkward dance, while the US, international community and investors, along with the IMF have chosen their partner to dance with, the theme song and band, and are viewing the dance and controlling it from the top looking down rather than horizontally and swatting at flies as we do on a day to day basis.

Maxgirl:  My question is what is the advantage of having Shabibi return? It is blatantly obvious that M has dictatorial rule and will rv if and when he wants to( regardless of IMf and World bank)..If he wans to keep the country depressed then we''ll never see this happen until he's gone (God I hope I'm wrong)..

Kaperoni:   Good point maxgirl.  It does not matter who is in charge of the CBI.  As stated several times, any substantial currency changes (RV, float or whatever) would require the coordination of many agencies or departments in Iraq.  ie..security, engineering, advertising.

Therefore, the CBI has to coordinate efforts for this to go forward.  And as long as Maliki has this "weak dinar" policy, it is a problem.

The question has become, will the IMF, World Bank be able to exert enough pressure on him to make a monetary change?  We all know the current conditions of the dinar, and we know the circumstances pertaining to the free market economy.   And we know the CBI is ready, what will it take to make the GOI ready?

MIKE: Ok, CarrelloI know I keep beating this drum, but, how can we assume that the IMF and World Bank are dancing with our man Maliki? I agree with you Carrello, we tend to shape the news to fit our preconceived notions and desires and form rational opinions from that analysis.

I've also seen numerous web sites that deliver only the news that fits their teams opinions, which is one of the main reasons I stay on Dinar Alert where we get all the news.

So far I haven't seen a replacement for Shabibi, either from Maliki or on the CBI's website. Turki is merely standing in as a figure head until Iraq can sort out what exactly happened at the CBI.

Shabibi also hasn't been formally dismissed from his duties, he's accused just as the 20 exonerated employees of the CBI, can't we at least assume that Shabibi may also be exonerated?

I think the article above is an excellent harbinger of future actions that will decide Shabibi's fate, if they've come out and publicly stated that there is no evidence of wrong doing how can they exclude Shabibi from performing his appointed duties?

I have no confidence that Maliki will suddenly do the right thing but I'm also comforted by the fact that the IMF and the WB have not publicly stated that Shabibi was in fact doing anything illegal or untowards. I guess we'll have to wait and see :)

DISCUSSION OF BLD, 24 NOV

[BondLady] malikis popularity with the people has increased now
[BondLady] it was 77%
[BondLady] now its 85%
[campdav] wow
[campdav] Thats huge
[BondLady] i'm tellin you if they don't pass the PM law limiting the terms he will run again and win
[BondLady] and it'll be a majority government this time
[BondLady] a chance for him to truly excel in rebuilding iraq and passing much needed laws
[BondLady] what should have happened this term but the stupid power sharing doomed it to fail and keep them constantly fighting
[DogzNova] but can it work long term.. If they can't share
[BondLady] yes
[BondLady] a pm has to be able to choose their own gov
[BondLady] if they can't you saw what this term did
[BondLady] absolutly nothing
[BondLady] or very little
[BondLady] so busy fighting over power they won't see the peoples needs
[BondLady] just like the infrastructure law
[BondLady] which would do so much for the people and give over 1 millon jobs
[BondLady] make people feel worthwhile again give them pride in bringing home a paycheck to support their homes and familys
[BondLady] building 1000's of much needed schools to get the young people in instead of joining terrorist groups
[BondLady] educate the people away from religious cleric fanatics
[BondLady] give them a future
[BondLady] but the power sharing now stopped that as they used it for a bargaining chip
[BondLady] pass the amnesty law in its current form and free the majority of terrorist sentenced or waiting to be sentanced
[BondLady] or you won't get to have the infrastructure law and help the people
[BondLady] its such bs
[BondLady] and even in a majority gov they still have parl and fed gov to ride shot gun over it all so its still power sharing but just giving the rightful right of the one who won PM to set his own gov
[BondLady] this is true democracy
[BondLady] not the farce of power sharing
[BondLady] in a fairy tale world far far away from the middle east
[BondLady] then a power share would work
[DogzNova] oh.. I see... It's like when our pres comes in.. he brings his own peeps in.. Sure I understand
[BondLady] or maybe 50 yrs down the road when all these old school one's have long died
[BondLady] then maybe
[BondLady] but now no way
[campdav] BondLady Like you say u have been following all this for a long time and the facts are the facts, in a sea of confusion you have diligently sifted the facts and while all are out there fighting Maliki they struggle how he could be so....................... and still be in there
[BondLady] i'll come out and say this one thing
[BondLady] i understand campy
[BondLady] and it because others don't trully understand they think what they do
[campdav] And BTW how they could call allawi a hero blows my mind
[BondLady] all this fighting your seeing in bagdad and the kurds go through
[BondLady] the fighting there doing over whos army should be guarding iraq
[BondLady] well there's only one iraq
[BondLady] and the kurds are in iraq
[BondLady] the kurd areas the kurds want to be guardians of
[BondLady] because what saddam did to them and others on down the line through history
[BondLady] the kurds have seen their share of slavery
[BondLady] and others trying to basically take them out completly
[BondLady] this is not even what maliki is trying to do here
[BondLady] when the erbril agreements were set
[BondLady] the kurds had several demands they wanted met
[BondLady] the hcl and article 140
[BondLady] also making kurd language be put on the currency
[BondLady] also iraq to acknowledge all saddam did to them in basically trying to make them extinct
[BondLady] annihilate them
[BondLady] they wanted to be major players in iraq
[BondLady] and for the gov to recognize them
[BondLady] and the gov did this
[BondLady] and the gov passed the laws to have kurd language put on the money
[BondLady] when that'll be released we dont know
[BondLady] which brings us to the hcl and article 140
[BondLady] if these two things alone were so easy to do they would have been settled years ago
[BondLady] but they are not
[BondLady] these two things alone have been a thorn in the sides of all of iraq for years and years
[BondLady] hcl is being worked on, its no easy task when your dealing with a country whos lust for greed and power drives them
[BondLady] their so afraid someone else is going to get a cent more than the other
[BondLady] the last part of the hcl
[BondLady] the thorny part is the profit sharing
[BondLady] who gets what ..where...and how much
[BondLady] thats the point of contention they must do to appease all of them, thats what their working on, the rest is already in place
[BondLady] now this brings us to article 140
[BondLady] the conflicts going on between maliki and barzani
[BondLady] barzani demandeed article 140 be done
[BondLady] thats what a lot of their fighting is about now
[BondLady] over disputed areas of article 140 of the constitution
[BondLady] for this to happen
[BondLady] they all can't be winners
[BondLady] theres going to be losers too
[BondLady] some will have to give up some of these areas so they can go to there rightful owners
[BondLady] and the iraqi army should be the only army to guard all of iraq, this is in the constitution
[BondLady] also in the constitution is the kurds and because of what saddam did to them they are allowed there own protection
[BondLady] the pershmerga army
[BondLady] a kurd army
[BondLady] but the bottom line here
[BondLady] is the kurds are in iraq
[BondLady] and iraq is their country
[BondLady] kurdistan is a province WITHIN iraq
[BondLady] not outside of it
[BondLady] so theres conflicts on settling this part of article 140
[BondLady] they fight to solve their problems its the middle eastern way
[BondLady] and if you want to understand iraq and iraqi culture and iraq politics then you have to get out of your western thinking to do it
[BondLady] otherwise you will never understand and the opinons which you form won't be right
[BondLady] because your looking out of the eyes of a whole seperate culture
[BondLady] no matter how right you think you are when you read iraq news
[BondLady] if your reading it as you would american newspapers then your gonna be wrong on your interpretation of them
[BondLady] i have through my work skills as a profiler
[BondLady] learned and studied each of the major players in iraq politics
[BondLady] thats how i know whats right from wrong and what they mean and say
[BondLady] i've basically gotten into their heads and its a crappy place to be but i had to do it to be able to understand the mind set of this culture of people
[BondLady] and until you can basically do the same thing ...your gonna be stuck in your way of thinking and not see things the way iraqis do
[BondLady] so they will fight this crap out
[BondLady] its what they do
[BondLady] its how they settle their issues
[BondLady] it does cost bloodshed all the time
[BondLady] its what they do
[BondLady] they thrive on bartering
[BondLady] and crisis
[BondLady] its how they settle things
[BondLady] and they eventually will
[BondLady] but on iraqs sundial not your timex
[BondLady] thank you

DINAR GURUS UPDATE, 24 NOV

11-24-2012  Newshound Guru Adam Montana   The worst case scenario in my opinion is that the old currency is assigned a lower value and the new currency is given priority, with the intention of removing the old currency permanently and immediately... but that does NOT mean there is no other way to move forward.

11-24-2012  Newshound Guru Med   THE MOVE TO A FREE MARKET ECONOMY CALLS FOR THE GOI TO GIVE UP CONTROL OF ALL MAJOR REVENUE PRODUCING COMPANIES.   THEY CAN ONLY OWN 49% OF THE OIL, THE NATURAL GAS AND ANY OTHER MAJOR REVENUE PRODUCING INDUSTRY.  THIS OBVIOUSLY IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO MALIKI.  WHY?  CUZ ALL THE OIL REVENUES PRODUCE THE FUNDS FOR THE GOI TO CONTINUE ITS EXTRAVAGANT WAYS.  [post 2 of 2]

11-24-2012  Newshound Guru Med   ONE MAJOR THING WE ARE LOOKING TO GET INLINE IS THE MOVE TO A FREE MARKET ECONOMY.  IT IS LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO ENTER A FREE MARKET ECONOMY WITH NO INTERNATIONALLY TRADEABLE CURRENCY AND IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT AS LONG AS THERE WAS SO MUCH CORRUPTION IN THE GOI THEY HAD NO INTEREST IN MOVING TO A TRADEABLE CURRENCY OR THE FREE MARKET.  [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]

11-24-2012  Newshound Guru Tlar   Talabini would be foolish to call for a vote of no confidence.  He's as dirty as the rest of them.  They will never call on Maliki to account for his governments corruption because Maliki could call for there arrest on the same charge. It looks as though the elections coming up are the only hope that this government will ever be able to get past this. Even though the elections will be rigged because Maliki gives the election committee its marching orders, at least there will be a definitive leader next time, Maliki.  Thats probably better than where we are today as far as the government is concerned.

11-24-2012   Newshound Guru Mike   "World Bank advisers: political commitment to succeed social safety nets"   The World Banks been in there, the IMF’s been there [International Monetary Fund]… What they were basically there for was to make sure the people were going to get treated respectfully and that the social programs are there for them… So they came out and said this needed to get done.

11-24-2012  Newshound Guru Doc   There is...much to-do in cyber land about the "raising the value in the coming days" quotes.  This to has been misinterpreted by many.  This is not a reference to the RV but short term strategies to get the dinar back to the program rate of 1160 Remember with the Iraq and Syria issues. USD was leaving Iraq quickly for these countries.  At one point the street value for USD got to 1400.  Several articles suggested the citizens were not happy and demanded action by the GOI and CBI.  We continue to caution all to view an article from the proper perspective in which it is addressing.  As with the currency it is either the short term issue of maintaining program rate or the longer term issue of currency reform.

11-24-2012  Intel Guru Winalot    i had a long conversation with a bank currency trader...a different bank that i have never talked to before...the guy was the person that sets the rates for currency at the bank...here is what he said about vnd...his screens show nothing like what we are seeing...he is not seeing the rates we are...he had absolutely no explanation for it.  I took him to 6 different sites, let him use my log in, and he was flabbergasted. literally speachless...he is going to do some checking around, he has my number, and will call me if he finds out what is up.  He also said that if it were a "glitch" that it would have been corrected by now

PHOENIX, BGG, KLILOK & OTHER POST, 24 NOV

11-24-12 Phoenix3333: Baghdad and Erbil: a mechanism for application of the 2009 agreement on the security of the mixed areas. "Kurdistan Alliance bloc said that the two delegations and military technicians of the Peshmerga forces and federal military forces will begin within the next two days the arrangements necessary for the truce agreement between the center and the region."

11-24-12 BGG: "Our priority now is the enactment of the Federal Court constitutionally that the Federal Court the current unconstitutional and biased and will stand against any resolution aimed Maliki." It is EXACTLY as I have been saying for sometime now. Once they iron out the FED COURTS issue, Maliki is porked. Especially now!!

11-24-12 Kliklok00: "There's Another Massive Source Of Energy Coming, And The World Has George W. Bush To Thank. Citi's commodities team believes Iraqi oil production is set to explode in the coming years, causing prices to turn downward."

"In a massive survey helmed by analyst Edward Morse, Citi's team projects Brent crude to fall to $99 next year. One of the main reasons: Iraq's oil production is poised to reach heights never seen in its history — neither prior to America's 2003 invasion nor in Iraq's '80s heyday."

This would be the world's second huge energy boom, with the US being the other big story. Importantly, the current Iraq trajectory is based on post-invasion dynamics. For instance, a second development at the West Qurna field, which didn't exist before the invasion, could yield up to 13 million barrels per day if fully realized.

Citi cites one field owned by China's CNPC whose 1997 contract terms were renegotiated after the invasion and whose production target of 120-130 kbpd peak target is now six years ahead of schedule.

11-24-12 Seabee1972: "There's Another Massive Source Of Energy Coming, And The World Has George W. Bush To Thank." Great article and we have all known for a long time that production increases would be in the future. The sooner an RV happens the better for all especially if the Dinar is tied into the oil output. In my opinion, once the U.S. , Canada and other countries ramp up production then all bets are off.

We will now have a glut of oil which in turn keeps prices from where they would have been otherwise. If an RV dosen't happen soon then we may never see the lofty heights of the Dinar that was once thought possible. While this could all be wild speculation, it seem certainly possible if you do the math. Let's hope this is over soon.

ADAM MONTANA, MIKE, JOEY & DOC POST, 24 NOV

11-24-2012  Newshound Guru Adam Montana   The worst case scenario in my opinion is that the old currency is assigned a lower value and the new currency is given priority, with the intention of removing the old currency permanently and immediately... but that does NOT mean there is no other way to move forward.

11-24-2012   Newshound Guru Mike: "World Bank advisers: political commitment to succeed social safety nets"   The World Banks been in there, the IMF’s been there [International Monetary Fund]… What they were basically there for was to make sure the people were going to get treated respectfully and that the social programs are there for them… So they came out and said this needed to get done.

11-24-2012  Newshound Guru Doc   There is...much to-do in cyber land about the "raising the value in the coming days" quotes.  This to has been misinterpreted by many.  This is not a reference to the RV but short term strategies to get the dinar back to the program rate of 1160.  Remember with the Iraq and Syria issues.

Doc:  We are...well aware of all the positive articles on chapter 7 and HCl and 2013 budget and..etc.  We would suggest to all to look at the history of the GOI delivering on what and when it says it will do something.  Unfortunately they have little creditability along these lines.

Do not misunderstand our comments here, we are encouraged that these things are in the forefront but we do not concur with the optimistic timelines as reported by others.  Yes, we concur that if the GOI would enact these things the journey would be quickly over but we believe the snails place will continue for a while with the end of this year now a distant hope.

Joey:
Article quotes: "Implementation without delay'', "The 1st day of the next month." All they have to do is implement the Custom Tariffs Act and they will become members of the WTO. And what does this do? It shuts down the borders to Iran (Hmmmm, sounds like Dec. 1st to me?).
Mike: "Central Bank Investigations Reveal "Levy" Parties Monthly Gains!!" As you can see, the corruption is tied to a lot of people...many hands are in the pot and many of these hands lead back to Maliki’s party…ambassadors and politicians have been put in these positions and you can understand why Nijaifi does not want to have these names out there because it affects a lot of people…

The Central Bank was doing what they were doing, and the people on the outside were causing most of the problems of what was going on… So really keep your eye on this… This is really going to get a lot of people into Maliki’s party and it’s really going to get into his chances for re-election...Things are moving along…Things are moving good… I’m likin’ it so far.

Mike:
"Iraqi coalition MP said free high Nassif to the challenges experienced by Iraq and not permit any politician think withdrawing confidence in the Government, arguing that the charges of the Kurdistan Regional President Massoud Barzani in crises the country source together with the Iraqi list led by Iyad Allawi."

This article failed to mention Sadr and his groups statements last week advising that the enviroment was good to remove Maliki through a no confidence vote. It's encouraging to see that the NA is taking this threat seriously, I can only hope that Talabani will back them this time around and force Maliki's hand.

I still believe that the quickest way to the RV is to have Maliki capitulate, give Allawi his postion, implement Erbil and wrap up 140. If he doesn't do this then we are in for a wait due to the process of no confidence and waiting for his replacement.

I'm concerned that Iraq will edge closer to civil war because of sectarian issues and I'm sure that Maliki will fan the flames of discord in some last ditch effort to retain power. Here's hoping.

Adam Montana: Last month alone there were FIVE major meetings, where MAJOR headway was made on drafting the new HCL law. That is MAJOR progress but there is still some work to be done, and I am sad to say that I can't give you an exact date it will be done.

But I am happy to say that I am confident it is going forward and I also feel confident that the Hamas situation will be settled down by then, which means that the situation in Hamas should not be a major factor on our investment.

There is no resolution on the Shabibi situation,  but most everyone agrees that we are better off with him out of the way, at least temporarily.

Chapter 7 is a "rubber stamp" away from being  completely lifted.

Maliki is still holding the reins, and it sure  looks like he has his sights set on improving the

situation, which could easily translate to gains  for Dinar Speculators.

All in all - good news all around, if you ask me!

DISCUSSION OF MED, 24 NOV

Med (03:36:55): I WAS READING THE POST    AND I EDITED IT    ON THE MEETING BETWEEN TALIBANI AND BARZANI     IT SUGGESTS THAT ALLAWI REFUSED TO ATTEND   THAT IS NOT QUITE TRUE

WHAT IT IS ABOUT IS THAT THE DECISION HAS NOT BEEN MADE BY BARZANI OR TALIBANI IF THEY ARE GOING TO SUPPORT IT

ALLAWI SAID MAKE YOUR DECISION  AND THEN COME TO ME    SADR SAID TO THEM HE HAS 40 VOTES AGAINST MALIKI WAITING JUST GET ON WITH WHAT YOU DECIDE

SO THAT IS ACTUALLY WHAT IT SAYS.....

JUST READ SLOWER AND SEPARATE THE SENTENCES ONE BY ONE AND YOU WILL FIND MOST EVERY SENTENCE BEGINS AND ENDS THE SAME ISSUE AND DOESNT CARRY INTO ANOTHER SENTENCE.....  OH THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THE LESSON    LOL
  Med (05:57:04):

GUARDIAN  WHEN YOU COME ON I HOPE YOU SEE THIS

I CANNOT FIND ANYWHERE IN THE GAZETTE WHERE THE AMENDMENT TO THE INVESTMENT LAW TOOK PLACE OR WAS VOTED ON THE 18TH....OR EVEN THE 19TH....

I WENT THROUGH SEVERAL HUNDRED ARTICLES THAT WERE POSTED IN THE GAZETTE

AND THE ONLY ONE I COULD FIND WAS THE RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS WHICH WE ALL KNOW IS NOT FINALIZING ANYTHING.....

ALSO WE ARE BETTER THAN BELIEVING ONE POST IN AN OBSCURE MEDIA OUTLET

WE NEED AS WE HAVE LEARNED OVER THE YEARS  LEGITIMATE NEWS IS NOT JUST POSTED IN ONE OUTLET

AND THE VOICE OF IRAQ AND THE AK AND CITIZEN ARE FOR US THE BEST MOST RELIABLE NEWS SOURCES IN IRAQ AND NONE OF THEM HAVE SHOWN ANYTHING IN THEM AS FAR AS I CAN SEE ON ANY AMENDMENTS

ONE MAJOR THING WE ARE LOOKING TO GET INLINE IS THE MOVE TO A FREE MARKET ECONOMY

IT IS LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO ENTER A FREE MARKET ECONOMY WITH NO INTERNATIONALLY TRADEABLE CURRENCY AND IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT AS LONG AS THERE WAS SO MUCH CORRUPTION IN THE GOI THEY HAD NO INTEREST IN MOVING TO A TRADEABLE CURRENCY OR THE FREE MARKET

THE REASON FOR THAT IS THIS IN THE MOVE TO A FREE MARKET ECONOMY IT CALLS FOR THE GOI TO GIVE UP CONTROL OF ALL MAJOR REVENUE PRODUCING COMPANIES   THEY CAN ONLY OWN 49% OF THE OIL  THE NATURAL GAS AND ANY OTHER MAJOR REVENUE PRODUCING INDUSTRY

THIS OBVIOUSLY IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TO MALIKI   WHY  CUZ ALL THE OIL REVENUES PRODUCE THE FUNDS FOR THE GOI TO CONTINUE ITS EXTRAVAGANT WAYS  CAN ANYONE OF YOU SEE A PRIVATE COMPANY GIVING UP 118 BILLION USD EACH YEAR TO SUPPORT A BUNCH OF CORRUPT

WIKILEAKS reveal a document on the transformation of the sum of one billion and four hundred million dollars of Paul Bremer and distributed between Presidents Barzani and Talabani, 24 nov

WikiLeaks revealed a new document relating to transfer the U.S. civil governor Paul Bremer sum of one billion and four hundred million dollars to the Kurdistan region, pointing out that they were divided between President Massoud Barzani and Jalal Talabani did not act on the Kurdish people.

The document showed dated 23 June 2003, the U.S. administrator of Iraq Paul Bremer to transfer these amounts, one of the pre-war oil revenues to Kurdistan, and gave it to President Massoud Barzani and Jalal Talabani. (Snippet from article – full article & Link below)

DP:  If this is true, maybe it is one of the reasons Talibani is so reluctant to take on Maliki

ZenMaverick ;   It is beyond belief that there are human beings that possess a psychopathy so grave.  They don't even possess the decency to "skim a little off the top," to which most people would turn a blind eye.   I am not yet apathetic about this RV/ free float, but I wonder: Why would anyone invest in such ugliness?  I hope in my lifetime we see "open season" declared on bankers and politicians.

Tlar:  This is why Talabini would be foolish to call for a vote of noconfidence.  He's as dirty as the rest of them.  They will never call on Maliki to account for his governments corruption because Maliki could call for there arrest on the same charge.
TLAR CONTINUES:   It looks as though the elections coming up are the only hope that this government will ever be able to get past this.  Even though the elections will be rigged because Maliki give the election committee its marching orders, aat least there will be a definitive leader next time, Maliki.

Thats probably better than where we are today as far as the government is concerned.  Oh to have been an Iraqi in those early days following Saddams demize when the US just sent pallets of $100 dollar bills with little to no accountability.

I would be filthy rich too maybe even a billionaire like Talabibi, Maliki, Barzini and others on the list of 25 new billionaires in Iraq.  They have sure proven to me tio be very skilled businessmen on fixed salaries.

FAST EDDIE:I disagree the questioning is all about Maliki & his action of not filling all the seats & his down fall as Prime Minister. They would  question his actions that he has done while in office. They would question his about his trying to take over the CBI & stealing the citizens money in the reserves. he would not be able to get enough to call the others for questioning his own party is mad at him & are starting to see once again seeing him wanting to take all the power & become a dictator.

Tlar:  Fast Eddie,  I wish it would be as you say but I don't believe it will go that far.

bye the sea;  Maliki has the deck stacked, and Talabani doesn't stand a chance. Plus, Talabani doesn't want to have his past discretions revealved given he is soon to retire. In his mid-seventies, he wants glory as he sits in his rocking chair, not anguish. Maliki wins.

The document referred to the report, "the Christian Aid" which said despite the loss of $ 20 billion but the strangest thing is the distribution of $ 2 billion before the transfer of sovereignty two days and thought that this amount is part of it, indicating that the securities of the class hundred dollars were all new. Arrived wrapped in plastic and packed in wooden boxes weighing 15 tons, enough to fill three U.S. military helicopters and a whole, one billion and 400 hundred million U.S. dollars.

In the process did not know about one, and reached U.S. helicopters to Erbil loaded with cash during the last days of the Coalition Provisional Authority of America, and the American forces were at the airport in Irbil to empty the money and borne under maximum security to Bank city center of Arbil, where the document said Rashid Taher, director of financial Erbil confirmed saying yes We have received money in cash from Paul Bremer at the airport!!!

She explained that after the arrival of the money, the finance ministers of the provinces of Kurdistan, Erbil and Sulaymaniyah Baksmth according to the size of their population. Erbil won $ 798 million and Sulaymaniyah received $ 602 million as the Kurdish officials said was quoted share Sulaymaniyah road through the mountains to the protection of the Peshmerga.

It confirmed that the money did not go to the reconstruction of the two provinces or create service projects, but I went to the secret accounts of Jalal Talabani and Massoud Barzani.
